I DO NOT RECOMMEND COOPER AND HUNTER AC Units. They do not care about their customers and support is very limited. Cannot get a manager to talk about my situation. Their warranty doesn't want to replace a bad unit. They require only dye test and soap and bubble. My damaged unit does not have anything in the line to get a soap and bubble test. The license technician did an isolation test and determined a bad unit. Cooper and Hunter rejects the isolation. I've been stuck since January with no AC and their excuse is still needing an impossible test. Picture is almost 9 months already. They don't care about us not having any air. I'm not asking for a free item. I've spent over $1300 on troubleshooting and freon loss. DO NOT BUY COOPER AND HUNTER. THIS SELLER COULD NOT TALK TO THE COMPANY AND IS HELPLESS AS WELL. I AM SO PISSED AT BOTH THE SELLER AND COOPER AND HUNTER. I bought 2 units with 5 air handlers and this is how they treat me with one bad unit and don't want to replace. ... show more

Went through a lot of trouble getting this hooked up. There after an accidental discharge of the coolant we needed to pump more in. OK, fine. Called a technician, he vacuumed the lines back down, hooked up the coolant tank and... coolant won't go in. Never heard of such a thing. Techs told me something is seriously wrong and I need to activate the warrantee. But there is just one thing: C&H won't do it. They want to send me parts and have me call the techs back out to fix the device on my own dime. There was one time that I called them and asked to speak to a supervisor and the man on the line told me he didn't have one. Unbelievable, hot garbage. Don't do business with these people. EVER. ***Little update (3/31/2023): The system is up and working now! The technicians I had before were absolutely awful, but some new guys got the system working, and it's working very well so far. I'm still going to take a few points off of the product for some poor customer service that I have gotten from C&H. It was a lot of run around, but to their credit it wasn't the hardware itself.     • I have spent over $6,200 buying 2 of these units, no reliable tech support.

Numerous phone call to Cooper & Hunter for Tech support is a waste of time. They produced a tracking number on the 2nd order I was forced to by on August 30th, tracking date, MiniSplitsforless is a very bad unethical company out of Florida to Deal with!!!!!!!!!! FedEx said they have not arranged a pickup for them or dropped off the package for FedEx to be able to deliver. I've reached out to Amazon about this scam.. Their tech support team doesn't answer their phone most often and I had to pay my installer multiple times to come back in an effort to get someone on the phone when a live (fake Technician), was available when he had the unit apart. They put him on hold, 3rd party techs no Doubt!!! ... show more

The heat pump arrived with a leak from Florida customer service not make things right. Since I have HVAC license I decided to fill it with 410-A refrigerant after the painstaking install.. It used around 19 pounds of refrigerant due to the leak over the 17 months before the heat pump failed.
