I’ve been using a Watts recirculating pump with their crossover valve at the furthest tap, and it’s worked great — but one of my other taps is on a separate leg and didn’t benefit from it. Rather than spend 2x on a second Watts valve, I gave this one a try. Install was totally painless — came with everything needed except the wrench. No leaks, no weird behavior, and now I’m getting hot water quickly at both taps. Build quality seems solid, and it’s a direct stainless steel upgrade over the plastic versions. Great value. Zero complaints.

Quality product made from stainless steel. I have a hot water recirculation system. The recirculation loop goes to the furthest point in the house which is the kitchen sink about 60 feet from the hot water heater. The recirculation loop is located in the crawl space so running the recirculation loop to the upstairs bathroom would have required opening walls to connect to the upstairs bath piping. Instead, I ordered this thermostatic valve which cross links the hot water supply to the cold-water supply under the sink. Problem solved, every time the hot water recirculation pump operates the thermo valve opens and prewarms the hot water piping. There is instant water instantly at the upstairs bathroom sink. This is because there is enough head pressure developed from the recirculation pump is running to push water through the thermo valve and into the cold-water side of the upstairs piping. No leaks after the installation.

I liked my Watts circulator pump and sensor kit that I installed in my bathroom so much that I had to order this improved model for my kitchen. I really like the fact that this one is metal and not plastic! It took me about a half hour to install the valve, and immediately you get very warm water. But that depends on how often you set your circulator pump to run. You have the option of every 15 minutes for 24 hours. And I believe running the water less probably saves enough on my water bill to pay for the electricity for the circulator pump. And believe me, it feels like a real luxury to have warm water instantly! I highly recommend this valve kit! But please remember you need the Watts circulator pump for it to work.

Required some assembly, but made sure to utilize plenty of teflon tape to prevent leaks. The entire setup is very sturdy and quality was good. I did have one issue with a supply line arriving crushed on one end, but the seller was quick to resolve the concern so no points off the review for the great customer service. Once I had it installed I shut off my cold water supply, turned on the cold water at the faucet and the valve passed the test to show it works. This valve paired with a recirculating pump at the water heater means I have instantaneous hot water at the faucet which is awesome! For those who may not have considered this, since the valve discharges hot water into your cold supply you will have warm water coming out of the cold initially when the faucet hasn’t been run in a while. Eventually you will clear out any residual heat and it will go back to cold, you may just have to run the faucet for a bit. Ultimately this should save energy, water and money though because running your cold water tap is much less expensive and reaches appropriate temp faster than the hot without this valve!

I had to hire a plumber to put them in & remove them. He said he didn’t think they would work. He was exactly right - THEY DONT WORK ST ALL. I have wasted this money & we bypassed the returning time because of availability of my plumber. I sure would like to send these 2 items back & get my money back? They are boxed back up & ready to go?? Please advise?

This adaptor set doesn't do anything. The pump outlet and inlet are flanged seal, not mpt, so get ready to have fun. The pipe adaptors on the end of the flange fitting is supposed to be 1/2"mpt but the threads are cut so deep that a standard galvanized pipe adaptor will bottom out before actually sealing. The pump and bypass are satisfactory, so I am pressing on with what I got
