I have tried several body weight percentage exercise machines and this one is the best. It is well constructed and is a very intelligent design. The machine is stable and sturdy. The precision bearings provide a smooth motion and quality feel. I am over 6’ tall and can get a good workout with the BL1. This machine along with a set of adjustable dumbbells and I no longer need a gym membership. No more sweaty machines and no waiting. The only complaints I have are the numbers on the resistance selector tube are faint and difficult to see. I am concerned that the numbers may wear off completely from sliding the selector back and forth. Perhaps they could be deeply etched in and of a more contrasting color. Also the seat is a bit wobbly. The post that the seat is mounted on is a much smaller diameter than the rest of the machines construction. The seat rocks slightly back and forth even when tightened down. These are the only complaints I have for an otherwise excellent machine. I took my time assembling it and upon completion noticed that the resistance selector would bind. An instruction sheet is provided to correct this. I made the recommended adjustments and the resistance selector now moves freely. I am very pleased with this purchase. ... show more

Since I haven't been able to hit my gym since March due to Covid, it was time to buy a home gym and I recently purchased this one and couldn't be happier. The materials are incredibly solid and assembly was quite easy. I took my time with it and had it ready to go within two hours. The range of exercises that can be done is excellent, thereby enabling a complete workout. I have not worked out long on this, but I am in love with it right now. The assembly was NOT difficult, but was time consuming. The quality is pretty amazing for the price range. I bought for the leveraged body weight as resistance, not having to have a weight stack, and the fact that it will leverage up to 150% of your body weight is pretty high resistance for most.. A 200 Pounder can get 300 Pounds resistance. Is it perfect? No, but my initial perception of quality is very good. This is a great home gym. I will revisit this at a later date once I get a few month of workout in, and let you know my longer term findings. ... show more

    • BEST HOME GYM IN CLASS!
The BL1 is the finest piece of home gym equipment for the money without a close second. The smooth and near frictionless movement really has to be seen and used first hand to appreciate how good this piece of equipment feels - especially when using a slower tempo when lifting and lowering. The assembly was straight-forward and I am not mechanically inclined. A great deal of attention to detail was put into the development of this product. It is unlikely that anyone other than Samson or Hercules would run out of resistance on this device - very substantial for the chest press, fly, pulldown and row to name a few. The adjustments are fast and easy and this machine can fit a variety of builds - many shapes and sizes. Even more impressive than the product itself is the OUTSTANDING support and service provided by the folks at Inspire Fitness. These folks are professional in every way and are always available.
