The media could not be loaded. Do not use this product while you eating with your family like hot pot because it will crack up and soups will burn you. I never ever buy anything like this glass pots again.

    • Borosilicate glass with a metal bottom
Borosilicate (pyrex) pot with a metal bottom. Works well, but as with all glass, no sudden temp changes or it will shatter. Also, I've read not to boil these dry as it might also shatter. Don't use the silicone pot holders when moving it while hot, the silicone doesn't insulate well at all. I use silicone thermal transfer pads for my PCs, so you know it's not going to stop the heat. All in all fun to watch the pasta swirl around, but not sure it makes much difference from a regular metal pot. B+ ... show more

This is a decent glass pot. It is not entirely glass, however. The bottom is metal, and feels much more flimsy than the rest (as well as being harder to clean). Not sure it's worth the price.

I like the idea but I wanted it to be the full glass pot as I’ve seen elsewhere. The metal bottom make it’s hard to clean and it does wear with the heat of the stove. I love that it comes with pot holders and a pot placer for when on the stove. It’s small but there are a variety of others
