Easy to use and does what it is advertised to do
I thought this unit would clear OBD2 codes from my sprinter engine computer. It appears to only clear Check Engine light and brake codes.. Ad needs to indicate it only clears these 2 codes.

I bought this a while back. Still use it more than a year later. I think it's fairly easy to read. It gives you codes accurately. It performed well. Easy to connect with the obd2 it's speed in processing is ok. Pretty good but for me.

Quality Reader for Entry Level grade product
I really like this OBD code reader, it's easy to use and does everything you would need for this basic entry level model. I had no problems plugging in and reading/clearing my codes. If you want a detailed definition of each code, diagnostics, live readings, possible fix recommendations, and a link to the cheapest available parts you would want to download the app and sync via Bluetooth to the reader. Data/Wifi will be required as well to use app. One thing to make clear, you do not need a phone, wifi/data or Bluetooth to use this reader. You can simply plug into your car and read your codes and clear them if you want. You'll just have to google what the codes mean to figure out your problem.

Not user friendly
The instructions that came with the product are vague. I had to figure it out by downloading a users manual online. And it wants to connect to wifi in order to work properly. Then it asks for the VIN number of the vehicle (I suspect that it does this in order to sync with the recorded history of maintenance done in the past for the vehicle). I done all that and got the codes, replaced all the parts using manufacturers recommendations from the dealership, and then tested my vehicle using the scanner once again. The second time I tested it, I got the same exact results (even though I had already replaced all the parts with new parts). I'm not sure what to make of that. My car is running way better that it has ever run due to the fact I replaced all those parts with new parts; however, I do not know why it is still giving me the same codes as before. I cleared all the codes and ran the test again. Same results. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. idk The unit is a little tricky. Not that user friendly. For someone like myself who is not a professional mechanic and who does all his own work on the vehicle simply because he can't afford to take it to a mechanic, I would recommend searching for a better scanner. I don't know which ones out there are the best ones, but this scanner seems to lack the technical capabilities required for a "do-it-yourself" mechanic with limited knowledge such as myself. I would have thought that, after replacing all the parts the scanner gave codes for, that would have solved all the issues on my vehicle as far as the check engine light constantly coming on. I cleared it twice and still get the check engine light. I'm probably going to have to take it to someone with better diagnostic capabilities in order to finally get the issues resolved. Download the app, plug in the reader. Boom. Done.
Couldn't have been easier. Installed the app, created account. Plugged in reader, app immediately connected to it, recognized my car Year/Make/Model. I updated the mileage and it downloaded the info. Takes a LONG time to download the info, tho', so be patient. I only had the car turned on, not running. I started to get impatient, so I started the engine. You don't need to. It just takes a bit so be prepared to chill for a minute or so. Codes came right up in the Report. I was able to schedule service with my Volvo dealer and tell them I was seeing these codes, and to be sure the issue is covered by my extended warranty. Couldn't be easier! If you use the scanner WITHOUT the app, the screen can be a little hard to read, especially if one of the BRIGHT LEDs is on. Don't really recommend using t his without the app.

Definitely will communicate with vehicle
I like. Prior to this unit, none of numerous methods for turning off "check engine" light worked for me. Device and one used by auto parts store both showed same vehicle engine sensor fault. But, it was another engine sensor which was the problem. So, I wanted the "check engine" light OFF, having identified a legitimate engine sensor fault and figuring out, which one was faulty. The sensor which was actually faulty, I don't need to operate my vehicle. I used this Innova 3020 RS Code Scanner to turn off the check engine light. This device is the only method by which I could turn off the "check engine" light. Money worth spent to accomplish that (frustrating problem) alone. (2003 GM vehicle)
