I tested this printer in my home office and was surprised by how lightweight and compact it is. The carrying case keeps the printer, charging cable and extra paper together, and it is small enough to fit in my work backpack. Setup through the app took me a few minutes, but once the printer was connected, printing from my phone was simple and straightforward. Make sure to read the directions- you press three times to connect, and you’ll save some time reading the directions before trying to print! The full-size thermal paper produced a clear black-and-white document, and I like that there are no ink cartridges to buy, replace or pack. Paper is built in so nothing else to carry around! Super versatile. I can see using this for travel documents, forms, checklists, school paperwork or other last-minute printing when a regular printer is not available. The tradeoff is that it requires compatible thermal paper and is not intended for color or polished presentation materials. The continuous-paper option also took a little practice—I accidentally created a very long printout on my first attempt. You can change that print option in the app. The paper is thin and of course rolls up like a scroll- another thing to consider. You can buy the folded paper if you need that option but that of course takes up extra room. Overall, this printer exceeded my expectations. It is compact, easy to travel with and genuinely useful when a regular printer is not available. I would buy it again and plan to keep it in my travel backpack for work trips and last-minute printing needs. ... show more

This guy right here... is the man for travelling. I cant speak to any other uses, but when I have to travel I has a lot of stuff to print out, boarding passes, Customs declarations, you know, traveling stuff thats alwys bood to have a back up of. this little guy is exactly what the doctor ordered for quick document printing from your phone, Ipad and surface laptop. I would buy this again for sure. Stops me from begging the hotel staff everytime to print stuff out for me or going to a local UPS store. The cost of Two taxis will pay for this, so it paid for itself on this trip already, there is a cheaper versionto this with another name, I cant say why I stumbled and settled on this one but I love it. recomended for what I described above. Great lil printer. Great for the price as well. Love how small and portable it is and the nice padded elegant bag that it came in. Also the fact that I can easily control the amount of paper that comes out right from the app using the crop feature is awesome. I print and bought it mainly for shipping label printing so I like to control the amount of paper coming out vs normal printers that have to use a full paper and waste paper with unneeded empty areas in paper. Also the fact that it comes with 3 roles of paper is awesome. No more buying disposable ink that dries up fast and more expensive than the actual printers lol. Also hate waiting for a regular printer to start up like a tractor trailer noisy and takes 10 mins to heat up ink lol. Those regular ink printers will become a thing of the past soon. My only issue with it is simple and might sound lame, but it looks a lot bluer in the picture than the actual printer. The one that came is more like white than light blue.     • Not for big jobs- only 1 page at a time

Edit: I don't know what I did but I changed settings, turned it on and back off and pressed every button imaginable and got it to print all the pages as long as I don't do more than 10 at a time. Not ideal, but it'll do. I bought this because I don't want to be replacing ink often. I homeschool my daughter and this seemed like the perfect fit. No ink replacement, travel size, easy to use (per other reviews). Boy was I wrong. It is easy to use, once you get it attached to your computer. Instructions are easy to follow (once you find the website to download the app that is located in the very back of the instructions) I never did get it linked to my phone. The thermal printing is nice, but if you touch the paper too much it leaves marks, which was expected but kind of sucks. The paper cutter on the printer does NOT work well for the rolls of paper. I ripped more papers than I care to admit. They give you rolls of thermal paper, which is impossible to flatten out. I bought flat paper and it loaded easily and prints nicely, though you cannot tear on the dotted line unless you print a second paper. The paper cutter on the machine did work better for this paper, but not fantastic. You can only print on a one side of the paper which isn't ideal because I wasted a lot of paper due to the printer not printing right and disconnecting mid print and printing in an Asian language (forgove me i have no idea which language) So if it prints wrong, or the wrong page (which it frequently does) you've wasted that paper and time. The printer keeps disconnecting from my comperter. I've had to reinstall it 4 times in 2 days. Plugging it into the computer does nothing. I can only get the Bluetooth to work on my computer , not my phone. Ok, fine I can deal with that, it's easy enough just time consuming. Now the most frustrating part. It will only print every other page. No it's not because of the settings on my computer either. I tried 3 different computers all with the same issue. Nothing I do fixes this. So I print out a weeks worth one one subject of school work and have to go back and hot "current" page one by one and wait a ridiculous amount of time for each page to print. I've spent an accumulative of 5 hours hooking the printer to my computer and printing 10 lessons. The disconnecting repeatedly fine, the rolling paper was an easy fix so ok, the fact that you can only print on one side of the paper isn't ideal because I wasted a lot of paper, but the printing every other page and not printing the pages I tell it to and heaven forbid I ask it to do more than two pages at a time that's the straw that broke the camels back. I will stick with regular printers I guess. This one does not cut it. Returning immediately. ... show more

This is my second purchase of a thermal printer and I have to say I am very impressed with the print speed and quality of the printer. The printer comes with it's own carrying case, 3 rolls of 8" x 11" paper, cable for charging and instructions manual. It does tell you how to install and print and once you get the app up and running it prints fine from your phone. (I have an Android phone so I can't vouch for iPhone compatibility or function. I do have an iPad so I will try to connect to that and update this review) The reason for 4 stars is it seems like you have to sign in every time you need to print. There was really no way for me to keep my printer signed in. While frustrating it wasn't enough to make me want to send it back. But if you plan on relying on this printer for daily use you may want to consider another brand. (If I do figure out how to stay logged in, I will definitely share in an update.) The app can find images on your device and print from that image. The image must be print ready as there was no way in the app to make adjustments or change image size. It does print edge to edge which I appreciated so image size may be related to paper size. This is a printer for standard US 8" x 11" paper. The paper holder inside does adjust so you should be able to print on any size thermal paper as long as it fits. I didn't experience any paper jams with this printer and it came charged so I feel you should get pretty decent battery life while printing projects. All in all this is a cool printer. If you're in the market for a thermal printer and you can deal with signing in with each use, I say get it. You get a lot of bang for your buck especially with the included carrying case.
