DO NOT purchase this product. It can be dangerous if you use this on the highway. Crossbars cracked after screwing in to the holder. Could not torque the bolts to 7ft lbs because they stripped. Had to use a bolt burnished to uninstall the 2 bolts that stripped in the process if trying to torque to spec. Once I had removed the holders there were multiple cracks that would not have held up if you had used this to bring plywood home at highway speeds. ... show more

The instructions do not match the products. These bolts need to be hexed in, not torqued, which can cause stripping. Instructions identify the parts for “ front” and “back”, yet that’s not indicated, and you can’t even take the items apart to actually install it. And now the product is currently unavailable?
