One of my favorite ways to prepare things like vegetables or pork/beef ribs is grilling. But living in a more northern climate, grilling outside becomes impossible once winter hits as the cold and weather not only makes it uncomfortable to be outside cooking, it also severely negatively impacts propane expansion. This grill is the perfect solution. The heating element has plenty of power to cook foods, the grill grate is designed very well to avoid fat dripping directly on the heating element, the water tray is well placed and the control interface is simple to operate and works well. The fan really is quite powerful and pulls smoke and vapors away from the cooking surface and downward. This combined with the innovative grate design means that this thing is very effective at cooking almost entirely smoke free. My only complaint is that there is no filter and so the oil sorta just collects on the fan and bottom fan tray. However, given how incredibly easy this thing is to completely disassemble and wash, that is hardly a dealbreaker. Seriously, this whole thing comes apart and besides the electronics part of the heating element and the fan, everything can be fully washed. This includes the entire base. Seriously, this thing is so easy to clean. TL;DR Awesome grill, no smoke, easy to use, easy to clean, with just slight oil build up in the fan. ... show more

Very good smoke control; the water trap helps reduce the smoke generated to a minimum and the fan removes whatever smoke there is. However, the fan is a little bit noisy. Grills well for products requiring lower heat (my favorite approach to grilling). However, the grill does not get hot enough for grilling thin cuts of meat (for example skirt steak). After use, the water trap and non-stick coating makes the clean up a breeze. I'm very happy with the Techwood grill. ... show more

We always read a lot of reviews before purchasing a product, and the reviews are what made us purchase this one. We also watched a few of the videos of some of the experiences people had and I am always One of these people who have to see it for myself to believe it.Well, I believe it now, it is exactly what other people have said this product is totally worth the investment. It is easy to assemble it heats up quickly, it is truly smokeless when the fan is on. There is one video that shows that the fan is extremely loud, I don’t know what that is about because the fan we have is extremely quiet as you can see in my video. We have recommended this to as many people as we can so far even though we have just gotten it is posting all over my social media sites. The food came out absolutely perfect and cooked so much quicker than our last product which did not last long. So in the long run believe in the videos, actually believe what you read in the reviews,They are real there are people out here that do believe in the products on Amazon and this one here gets 1 million stars for me definitely worth it give it a shot please if you purchase leave a video to share your experience, also cleaning is easy and temperature controls are Dialed right in and are perfect ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I appreciate the cover, size and ease of use of this indoor grill. However, it is far from smoke free. The instructions clearly state to make sure the fan is on while grilling. Well, check out what is happening! The smoke is just being diverted. It difficult to see in the photo but my kitchen is filled with smoke. I had to open a door. I am so sad, I brought this because my outdoor grill caught fire and I wanted to grill until I could replace it.. it’s a great grill and has a lot of nice features but beware it is NOT SMOKELESS! ... show more

I researched a number of smokeless grills before making my purchase. I wanted something that would be easy to clean and good for indoor grilling. I used this grill for the first time tonight, followed the directions for seasoning and tempering the grill. I cooked two boneless chicken breasts after brining them. The chicken was delicious, moist and well cooked. There was absolutely no smoke or odor. The clean up was simple and fairly quick. I opted not to put the pieces into the dishwasher this time, but will most likely try it at least once. I did have some difficulty with the instructions - I wish they had been clearer in some places. Also, I'm anxious to try cooking beef on the grill, to see how if smoke is present and how long it takes as compared to the chicken, which needed to be well cooked so took a bit longer. ... show more
