I received the package quickly. Looks perfect when pulled out of the box. Easy to put together and operate. But the tanks for the water were useless. They dumped water into the incubator and made the humidity super high. I had to remove the tanks and manually add water every couple hours. Other than that, I had a successful hatch with 10 out of 18 baby quail. The egg turner worked perfectly. I even used it as a rehab home for a few days for two of the chicks as they were struggling with foot and leg issues. I kept them in there, away from the other so they would not get pecked. It worked out well and they were able to get stronger and thrive before putting them back in the brooder with the others. So that is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. But overall I really liked the incubator.

This incubator malfunctioned with three days left on the timer. The control panel just cycles through and won’t reset. It was a disaster and an awful waste of eggs that died with only a few days to go. Very frustrating that the return window closed before it malfunctioned. Sad and disappointing product.

When the items arrived I was presented with two packages of toast powder. Very poor decision regarding the irresponsible packaging of my items. They are unusable.
Incubators for Hatching Eggs with 4pcs Waterer Cups, An awesome incubator if you are doing wet hatching. There are two water bottles included so that you will have plenty of water to create humidity. It turns the eggs, and you can adjust the timing of that as needed. It even keeps track of the number of days the eggs have been in it. However if you ever want to try dry hatching, you won't want to use this, as there is a low humidity alarm which cannot be disabled easily. Other than that it is a great incubator.

To say I am impressed with the quality of this incubator would be an understatement. I've seen other units at a higher price that are not even close to the quality of this incubator. The clear dome has a feeling of being heavier duty than I'd expect at this unit's price point. The incubator is loaded with features that should make successful hatching easier to achieve. There is the self turning feature, the automatic humidity and temperature control, and the design of this unit makes it easier to disassemble and clean than other units I've looked at. The instruction manual is surprisingly complete and easy to understand. After reading the manual and watching a couple of YouTube videos about how to incubate chicks using similar incubators, you will have no trouble understanding how this goes. After assembling the unit (VERY simple - just a single gear to press onto a motor shaft), I ran it though the tests that the instructions described without incident. My first batch of 18 eggs is in it right now. The first hatching in this new incubator is 4 days away!
