This incubator is a bit difficult to set up. I gave up on the automatic humidity system. I still have to spin the eggs every 3ish hours because this incubator provides only side to side rotation.

We've completed several hatchings, and this incubator has performed well, although it sometimes struggles with humidity. The previous incubator worked well but only occasionally, while this one has been consistently reliable. Taking a break for a while but expect to get this back running in the next few months.

Our hens have just recently started laying and since we were prepared by having this incubator in our supplies, my husband decided to see just how well it worked. We have had 4 babies hatch already and the incubator has been doing great. It holds the temps and humidities very well, the little pump keeps the water circulating and refilling is simple with the use of a syringe. However, I do wish the pump had a power button on it so that I could detach the intake hose and use the pump and a cup to refill the water reservoir as the little hole for the syringe is at the back of the incubator. The auto-rotator keeps the eggs on a steady timer swinging them from side to side when the time is right. Hatching the 4 I’ve gotten already has been so easy and did not require all of my husband’s attention or time, leaving him free to help with other tasks.

I've used this incubator a few times to hatch chickens this year. I've gotten a good hatch rate each time! It holds the temperature and humidity well. I love the pump that adds water when the humidity gets below your desired setting. It's easy to clean as well. Definitely works just as well as the $200 similar incubators
