  • Good product
Color: Yellow
It worked well, but did have some trouble keeping humidity at the right amount. However, I had it by a window which the instructions tell you not to do. Not a sunny window! I had a 60% hatch rate. I could only fit 9 eggs in because my hens lay extra large eggs.

  • It’s a okay starter incubator
Color: Black Green
So I think this one is a 7/10. PROS- intergraded candling light, annoying temp guard alarm, removable turner rollers, moisture holes (it’s ok you can giggle, I did.) Alternative battery terminal hookup ( very smart idea) CONS- Eggs walk during turning and get jammed on the sides and against one another, no light inside incubator, styrofoam insulator is glued to main box(in the summer my house is 80F and muggy) Overall it’s hatched 3 out of 9 chicks so not great but alot of factors play when incubating chicks ... show more

  • It works and its affordable!
Color: Yellow
Ive had no issues with this Incubator. My eggs are showing life on just day 3. I will be using this for many years to come. The candling light works great too. You can add water to the unit without removing the lid which is nice as well. This is an honest unpaid review!!

  • Not good
Color: Black Green
Not as described. 1, can not hold 12 eggs 2, does not roll eggs well 3, humidity control is not as the picture suggests; it is put all water in the opening bottom, no control how water in or out at all 4, the fan keeps running 24 hours per day

  • Works as Stated.
Color: Yellow
Works as stated. I haven't had any issues except for the spacing of the spinning tube's. Would be better if there were a little more space in between each one.

  • Thermometer Needs Calibration & Humidity is Wonky
Color: Black Green
EDIT #2 - 3/16/25 - I’m just starting day 5 of incubation and this incubator has been a humidity nightmare!!! This incubator does absolutely nothing to moderate humidity. Nothing. At. All. I assumed it would increase airflow / pull in outside air as necessary to lower humidity when needed. Not the case. I get humidity spikes up to 85% when I add water. And it spends maybe 20% in the target zone before I need to add water again. I found a WORKAROUND today. Clearly, the water is spreading throughout the bottom chamber to create too much surface area for evaporation. This = higher than ideal humidity. So instead of adding water to the bottom, I added water in a shot glass. And put it beside the rollers. Fingers crossed - it seems to be working, giving us more time in the blue zone of 45-55%. I think I have room to add a second shot glass if needed. I think you could add a sponge on the bottom to moderate the amount of evaporation surface area further. Tho I’d be concerned for mold formation. So shot glasses it is for now….. I will need to monitor air cell formation big time and will likely need to postpone lockdown by a day or so bc high humidity early on slows development. Not impressed. The ambient humidity here in Florida indoors is in the target zone. I may literally be better off with a box of eggs and a gooseneck heat lamp. EDIT #1 - 3/9/25 - (Added photo) I’ve downgraded to 3 stars bc I cannot, for the life of me, get a stable humidity. What’s crazy is the ambient humidity here in Florida is in the perfect zone! Including a chart of my humidity. Spikes when I add water and spritz the eggs….and then it tanks. Frustrated!!!!) Very easy to set up. It’s a good size and seems to have good durability. Those aspects all work well. The drawback: temp and humidity control. There’s no easy way to remove water if you put too much in and cause a humidity spike. Luckily I’m on a dry run and now I know to add water in very small amounts or simply spritz the eggs w water for a small boost. I admit I’m a bit perplexed that humidity is even an issue bc I’m in Florida where the ambient humidity is in my target range indoors! The thermometer needed calibration. It was 3 degrees and change off from the second thermometer I got for calibration. And then realized I needed a third in case this new one I got was askew. So you def need at least 3 thermometers to calibrate. ... show more
