So far, I really like this incubator a lot. Very affordable for the quality. The only thing that I don’t care for is that it instructs you to fill the first bottle with water and then for the remainder to add in the other bottle. The humidity gets much too high doing it that way so I have to feed the water in periodically. I don’t mind doing it but it’s something you have to be mindful about and that was not explained in the instructions. Apart from that, I like it a lot.

I homeschool and wanted to hatch eggs from the farmer friend down the road. He got the baby chicks back as our HOA doesn’t allow us to raise chickens. My friend provided 12 fertilized brown chicken eggs. The incubator automatically slowly turned the eggs every two hours and controlled the automatically controlled the humidity via dual-mode sensors (you have to add water). The heat is also controlled automatically, keeping the eggs between 60 and 104 degrees Fahrenheit. I tried to measure the temperature, but it was difficult to do so. We used the Candler on top to look through the eggs as they developed. It takes about 21 days for chickens to hatch, and the last three days are referred to as lock down, and you must remove the turntable so the eggs stop turning. Only 7 of the eggs hatched, and the farmer said to leave the chicks in the incubator and let them dry for another 15 hours. He came and picked them up and said he would put them in their brooder. The farmer said the ones that didn’t hatch were either that the egg was defective, didn’t get fertilized, or the incubator didn’t maintain the proper temperature and humidity for those eggs, and there could be a few other reasons. I will try again next spring, as this was the first try, and disturbed the incubator a couple of times, and should not have done so. I did not open the incubator and wanted to take pictures of the chicks, but the farmer said it was best to take the incubator with the chicks. He dropped my incubator off on my porch later that night.

So far I am pleased with it straight from the box. It feels fairly solid and I like the design and features, feels like an excellent value for the low cost. It was very simple to set up and instructions are clear in the incubator itself. I just set a dozen eggs in it yesterday so I'll update in ~20 days with the results.

I haven't actually hatched any chicks yet, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to try, and this incubator seems like it's going to do the trick when I finally commit to becoming a chicken parent. The automatic egg turning feature and the humidity control takes away another thing I'd inevitably mess up through trial and error. The clear viewing window means I can obsess over the eggs without constantly opening it and messing with the temperature. The egg candler is a nice touch and I'm already planning dramatic egg-checking sessions to see what's happening in there. Setup is straightforward enough to figure it out, and everything feels sturdy enough. Twelve eggs feels like the perfect starter amount, but you don't have to fill every slot for it too work. Perfect for anyone who's been toying with the idea of hatching their own chicks but wants affordable equipment that is easy to use, beginner friendly and sets you up for success.

This egg incubator is great—especially for the price! It’s much more affordable than other models I considered, but still packed with useful features. I love the included candling light, and the temperature and humidity controls are easy to adjust. It holds 12 large chicken eggs, though it’s a bit snug. I don’t think it would fit 12 larger eggs from other species, but you could stagger them a bit and still make it work. One of my favorite parts is the clear design—my kids love being able to watch the eggs slowly turning. It makes the whole hatching process more fun and educational. Overall, a great incubator for beginners, families, or anyone looking for a reliable and budget-friendly option!

This is a great, budget-friendly incubator. It is feature-packed with adjustable temp and a built-in egg candle. It took a few trial runs to get the temperature & humidity correct. I would recommend running it for several hours or days to get used to the product BEFORE filling it with precious eggs. We are in the process of hatching our first batch now!
