I have been wanting an incubator for a long time! We are going to try an experiment with fertilized eggs from a local grocery store. This incubator can house up to 12 eggs but we are going to start out with just 6 to test it. I highly suggest reading the instructions. It not only shows you what to look for and steps based different days, but it has really helpful information. MOST ESPECIALLY- DO NOT throw the styrofoam insert away. It is used to help insulate if the temperature/humidity drop. Humidity is essential to proper development. I think my favorite part of this little incubator is that the designer of the product thought to add an egg candler to check the progress of the embryos. This is so important to have an having one on the device eliminates the hassle of finding one or misplacing it. All in all, really pleased with this product and I definitely think it’s worth the price! I will update the results of our experiment once we complete it! Here is to hoping for fluffy baby chicks!

I have roughly a dozen different incubators and they are all generally pretty much the same build. This one isn't really any different. The heat holds true to whatever you set it at. The humidity level is managed by a valve that you can adjust on the top. The candling light will help you see development in the eggs, and the tumbling feature to keep the eggs rolling every so often works fine. The instructions included are easy to follow. It only holds a dozen eggs, so it's not going to get you a huge batch at a time. It works well and I have eggs in it right now at 13 days and development is going along just fine.

Im on day 16, and so far so good. Biggest worries I have are the humidity & Rotation. I can't get up passed 63 even with valve closed. It needs to be 80 for the last few days before hatching. And it shouldn't rotate eggs the last 3 days but there is no feature to stop it from rotating every 2 hours. These things should have been in the description. Again, there is no way to set the humidity you just have to take what you get, and you cant stop the rotating.

Candler on this model is awful. Luckily I have a different brand incubator that's candler is way better. I put a backup hydrometer inside and it isn't reading correctly as it seemed too hot. So that one is on me. The auto turn works well but the humidity levels are difficult to get down. Good for small lots of eggs and definitely good on the pocket. But you get what you pay for. Does not regulate temperature or humidity well. I had to transfer eggs & newly hatched chicks to a different incubator because I had one chick overheating and humidity would NOT go below 80%. Do not recommend. Spend more for a good one.

I am impressed with this incubator for the price point. It will handle up to 12 chicken eggs and includes an automatic turner. While I haven't hatched anything in it yet, I did take it out of the box and set it up to see if it was working. It was easy to assemble, fired right up and attained the set temperature quickly. The quality of the construction is nice, and it looks solid. I will determine functionality once I make my first set of eggs and will update this review with the details. For now, it is a well-made incubator that looks as though it will have good functionality and will accommodate a good number of eggs without having to turn them manually. For the price, that is a lot! It is very nice to have these smaller incubators on hand for when I don't feel like using a large cabinet incubator when I just want to hatch a few eggs or do a small test run.

Excellent price, and these round incubators are my favorites. This reads temperature and humidity and has a candling light. The water bottles can attach to the bottom of the machine itself and slowly drip to fill it up without having to open it during lockdown. They even have no-spill lids and two complimentary containers to go with your inky. There is also a side vent to further help with regulating humidity. The autoturning feature and an outside styrofoam casing, if needed, are all you need to hatch out baby chicks. Nice incubators.
