  • Good quality
Holds everything great! Used it for making veggie and chicken broth. It held alot, simmered great. Sometimes the condensation would drip out on to the burner and you'd hear a sizzle and it's hard to clean in a shallower sink because it's tall and bulky.

  • You Pay for What You Get
I have started home brewing again after several years of being out of the game, and I needed to upgrade because I was previously using an enamel coated pot for my wort. Eventually I want to go all-grain with a high-end setup, but for now I just wanted something inexpensive to brew up extract kits. After searching a few places online I found this pot which seemed like it was exactly what I wanted for the time being for a good price. When I received it you could tell this wasn't a super high quality pot by the weight, but it was in good condition and didn't have any dent's or scratches. The handles for the lid and pot were tightly riveted, and it matched the description listed on Amazon. I have used it a couple of times for brews, and it has good heat distribution and does what I need it to do for now. Bottom line: there are thicker, higher quality stainless steel pots out there, but for the price this makes a great pot for most average jobs. ... show more

  • Good enough for the price
I thought I would write a review on my experience given the poor feedback other people left. So first off, this is a cheap pot, but you are getting it for a cheap price. It is super thin and light weight, but it gets the job done for occasional use. I use it for home brewing. If you are looking for a pot for frequent use, you should invest in something better. In response to some other complaints: -I have have not had a problem with the coating flaking off or any other problems with the stainless steel -Mine did have a lid -Mine was 5 gallons -The handles are holding fine, although I suppose they do worry me sometimes given the how thin the metal they are riveted into is -Mine DID have a small dent in the bottom from shipping. Dents are bound to happen with how thin the metal is. It isn't really a problem for me, but may be for you if you use a glass top stove. ... show more

Bought this for my daughter (so she would stop barrowing mine) she loves it! Great size and easy to clean.

  • You get what you pay for: Wobble, wobble, shake, shake
The media could not be loaded. We like to smoke our turkey legs and needed a larger stock pot for the brine. I avoid brining in plastic and aluminum so we figured stainless steel was the way to go. This stock pot was cheap and claims to be stainless steel so we figured we would give it a go. While washing the pot I realized it is quite flimsy. The lid warps easily under slight pressure. As you can see from the video, the pot wobbles quite a bit when on high heat. I also witnessed, and heard, the bottom of the pot “pop” out when it reached a certain temperature. I’ve never experienced anything so bizarre. Definitely a cheap pot that we won’t use for anything other than brining. ... show more

  • Too thin, I’d spend a little more
Bought this with the intention of making large batches of hot process bar soap. Didn’t realize it was so thin, it’s easily deformed and the bottom edge already had a dent in it upon arrival, and it wouldn’t sit flat although I’m sure it would with weight in it. The lid was also sharp around the handle rivets. Not that this wouldn’t work for awhile probably but it feels so cheap and flimsy I’m returning it and spending $7 more on a 20qt pot here on Amazon that weighs over double what this does. Id recommend you look for another option unless you want it to be light and thin like this ... show more
