I bought this because I was spending a fortune on Starbucks (specifically the brown sugar shaken espresso) and wanted to make it at home. I’ve never made espresso and I want to clarify this is technically a moka pot, but pretty much the same as espresso. The taste is great, it brews quick. However it definitely has some caveats. I didn’t realize how HOT the base would be and as the filter for the coffee is inside of it, you cannot make one round of coffee and then quickly make another because.. it’s scorching hot inside of it. It doesn’t make three actual cups, (which I figured) but more so 3 shots worth or so of espresso coffee. Which is perfect for my morning drink. It’s a little messy to fill and screw on, but it beats paying 8 bucks everyday for Starbucks. Just something to keep in mind. You definitely can’t brew some and immediately make more, has to have time to cool. ... show more

Me ha gustado esta “ greca” electrica ( así le llamamos en RD ) es rápida , muy rápida y tengo solo una queja : la limpieza del filtro o canasta donde se pone el café , le doy con un estropajo y jabón y le enjuago mucho y sigue botando restos de café , si la sacudo sale más y más , he optado por dejarlo sumergido el agua en un vaso por horas y así es más fácil . I really like this electric coffee maker. It is fast and efficient and it looks really neat! Size is perfect for me. Taking one star because unfortunately they don’t seem to last very long. This is the 4th one I’ve had to buy! Quality definitely needs to be improved!

I didn't want a cappuccino machine or something that would take up a huge amount of real estate on my counter and this definitely fits the bill and it is really straightforward and easy to use. I would recommend this item to anyone that is considering something like this.

Works great for 2 cups of expresso- doesn’t have a max fill line so be careful not to overfill as it will run out onto your counter- but it does the job and good value for the price
