Does what it’s supposed to and works well. Haven’t had any issues whatsoever. Phone attaches well and fits perfectly on my laptop. Haven’t had to use it much, but it’s a nice option since my laptop camera isn’t great.

This is a great tool. Being able to use my fantastic iPhone 14 pro camera for FaceTime and other conference software is really big step ahead. You feel more confident when you know people see you better, more detailed and crisp. Definitely a great buy, something I would absolutely recommend.

This one mounts on thin lapto screens or your All in One PCs or IMacs which have a thin edge up top. It works for this one task and as long as lcd bezel is thin enough it will slide on. Works as a Continuity camera mount for Apple laptops. Very strong magnets (beware if you have MagBak cases, it's hard to remove when combined). My gripe with this mount is the sharpish edges that touch the inside of your screen. If you, like me, pull your iPhone forward and up a little to remove from the laptop lid, I worry that sharp metal edge is going to scratch the plastic on the screen over time. There is a bit of rubber inside to protect the edge of your laptop - but that edge is a bit too catchy - and last thing you want is to scratch up your MacBook.

I found that the imluckies Continuity Camera Mount is a convenient and practical solution for using my phone alongside my MacBook Pro or any other laptop that has a thin lid edge. The magnetic holder is compatible with MagSafe iPhones, and the package comes with a self-adhesive ring that enables it to be used with Android phones as well. This versatility is a great feature. The only downside I have found is that the edges of the metal holder are a little sharp, and if you are not careful, it could scratch the finish of the edge of the laptop screen. Additionally, it is worth noting that the mount will fit other laptops if you bend the metal clip on part to accommodate the thicker laptop lids. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a magnetic phone holder for their MacBook Pro.

This clicked right on to an iPhone 13, and allowed for a solid attachment while used with Ventura's Continuity Camera feature on an Apple M1 MacBook Pro. It even clung well to the phone thru an Otterbox Commuter case. My wife and I had a great time playing with the camera features and noted the image was noticeably sharper in both Teams and Facetime. Continuity Camera effects are accessible from control center regardless of which of the programs you are using. It is certainly worth having one of these to hold the phone in this way. We used it with a cord on the phone for power and connectivity, but it is clearly well suited to use with a MagSafe charger too. Also in the box are two magnetic rings that can be stuck to non-MagSafe compatible phones; peel and stick style. I attached one to my iPhone Xs which then allowed it to hang on the the screen too. The magnetic rings are very thin, so it could be returned to its Apple leather case as though it were not there; no lump or case fit issue. That said, the ring appears to add just enough extra thickness so that wirelessly charging no longer worked consistently; though when the case was removed charging was fine. I rather like my leather case, and wireless charging, so can't see this being a viable solution for that phone and case. I definitely do recommend it for a newer iPhone 14 / 13 / 12 series phone, if you have a Mac running Ventura and use video calling apps. The holder works perfect for that, is slim and strong with a smooth plastic back that will not scuff or scrape your phone or its case. The price is less than its competitors, all while offering the same features. I have no hesitation in giving it a solid 5 star review for that.
