These are exactly what I was looking for. I bought a car canopy from Harbor Freight, but couldn’t secure it to the ground since it is set up on asphalt. I ordered these and waited for them to show up, then I got a bag of play sand from Home Depot and put 1/4 of the bag of sand into each bag. Also bought some bungee cords from Harbor Freight. Each corner of the canopy now has one of these sand-filled bags hanging from a bungee cord. We still remove the tarp from the canopy in severe (windy) weather, as I believe it would still get carried off like a parasail if the wind were strong enough. We use the canopy as a tent for entertaining, not as an actual car shelter. ... show more

Ordered these after getting the car cover. Unfortunately they arrived the day after a storm removed the car cover. They appeared to to be very sturdy, but i retuned them since I no longer have a car cover.

Bought to weigh curtains on a wooden deck. We filled them with pea gravel. After two months, two of them have burst. The bags fray badly when in contact with any hard material. Avoid.
