Box came in perfect shape, no damage. I assembled this by myself in 90 degree weather and boy I couldn't wait for the shade. Pretty straight forward to assemble only errors were me putting a canopy brace in backwards and centering the canopy was a little difficult by myself, but it's done. Only wish is there were weights in the screen and shade to stop them blowing in the wind, but that's easily remedied. Let's see how it holds up to Florida. Definitely recommend using an Allen bit for a power drill and set it at low resistance. I stripped the head on a couple of the screws - but not to worry, it's not coming down. Saw another review about getting some pavers to put it on - gonna try that to help anchor it and raise the curtains off the patio deck. I also purchased the the sand weights to stabilize the legs. Update..... added about 200lbs of sand to the uprights, 50 per leg, and so far stability is great. Experiencing 60mph winds right now and holding up 100%. UPDATE POST HURRICANE IAN. Well lets say it didn't quite make it. took off the canopy but stupid me left the curtains bundled to the uprights. Did really well until the 150mph gust and then the legs just pulled out from the frame, even with 50+lbs of sand attached to each leg. Maybe I'm a dreamer but I think had I not made that error, it would have survived. I think when all is said and done I can rebuild the legs using 4x4 or 6x6 wood and securing the top frame to them. Other than that I was great! If I can't rebuild, I'll just by another and then have some spare parts (just in case) 2nd Update - I wrote the company to see if I could get some replacement parts to fix the damage from the hurricane. All I can say is they were absolutely WONDERFUL and I'm as happy as can be. I will be re-rising the gazebo next weekend! Gonna reinforce the anchoring into the deck and make sure I remove the side curtains if there's ever another hurricane! Thanks to the company - again, I couldn't be any happier with their response!

I’ve owned many over the years and had them for long amounts of time. If well taken care of and maintained they last a long time. It is very sturdy, easy to assemble. Don’t leave the fabric on it in the winter, it HAS to come off and be stored or the entire thing will collapse. I’ve taken the canopy off every one I’ve owned durning the winter. Remember the frame is aluminum not steel. The legs MUST have weight on them or screwed into the concrete or deck. It will blow over if not. I bought velcro weights and filled them with sand. 50lb per leg and it does very well. The stakes included won’t keep it secure. You CANNOT set this up alone it takes a minimum of 2 people. Mine has been up for a month now and been through spring rains and storms. It has kept most things under it dry and the weep holes in the canopy help to keep the weight of heavy rains from collapsing the top in. I would buy another one.

UPDATE: After about a month of using, one of the zippers of the curtains broke and came out. I am upset because it was the one which we have kept it closed the whole time. That one or two times that we unzipped it, shouldn’t have cause the zipper to break. I tried to fix it but I couldn’t. It seems like I have to order new curtains/cover. END of update. It took my husband about 3 days to finish the set up of this Gazebo (about 3 hours each day). I helped him for about an hour on the first day, and the second day he needed the help of 2 other friends to install the roof (about half an hour with all 3 people working). No tools are needed except what is provided. Notes: - Do not tighten the screws until you combine all the metal pieces. You will lose it if you tighten each screw as some of them won’t align later. - The instructions miss mentioning the correct position of the main rectangle side-pieces (the one which goes on top of the poles and holds the roof). Check my 2nd picture; it is taken from outside. That empty space in the middle of the bar should face outwards and the 2 empty lines should face downwards (this will help once you hold the side bar and check the curves/lines I am talking about). - It looks sturdy and beautiful. All pieces came intact and clean (I read some of the reviews where people were complaining about dents on the frame and stains on the fabric). - I hoped the little pieces which hold the net and the curtains were made of metal. They are made of plastic and come in the exact amount needed. It would have been thoughtful if they included 4-6 spare pieces just in case they break. I won’t know how long they will last. I can update my review in 6 months. - I paid around $350 including tax and so far I think it is so worth it. Overall, I do recommend this gazebo!

The product runs true to description, in regard to size. 13x10. The legs are hollow but thick and strong. The tarp on top, as well as the curtains, are thicker than I was expecting and keeps rain out well. The mosquito netting is also solid. I did notice during a heavy rain that a little bit of water got in through the top, but again, it wasn't a normal rain. The wind was blowing too so that had something to do with it. These a little opening up top between the main tarp and top tarp for venting, so I expected this and it wasn't a big deal. The rest of it kept rain out perfectly. My complaint would be with the directions. All pictures and 4-5 steps shoved into one step on each page. It took a bit to decipher what we were supposed to do. My wife and I took around 5 hours to get everything done, including curtains and netting, so make sure you have time to set it up. Also, make sure you screw it to the ground. Based on reviews and research, these things go flying if not secured very well, and sand doesn't seem to be great. Our tacon screws are holding it down perfectly. All in all its great for the price. We did a ton of research and this seemed to be the best of price, quality and features.
