Great little starter kit for beginners. This is not a toy and can be tuned and played. This Ukulele sas a decent sound. I have ukuleles ranging from $39 up to $400. I love to play them all for different sounds. This is great for someone that does not want to spend a lot of money and is not sure if they will keep playing. Also great for kids just starting. If you are looking for a Ukulele a few steps up, I would try the KALA SHark. It has a beautiful sound for only $49. I love to take that one with me when I travel. Anyway, for $39 you get the Uke, the strap, the tuner, the case and a tiny little songbook with chords. I think this is a great deal. It had the wrong strings on it. But my daughter still loves to play with it. I was just hoping it would come ready to go. I also only received the ukelele and case. I thought it was going to come with the tuner, the learning book, the picks, and strap but it did not. ****edit**** the sender mailed me all the extras that were pictured. It was just a mistake.
