I bought these for my new kitchen island for my relatives to sit and have coffee. After reading the item description, I figured that the heavy duty (high weight limit) would mean it would be sturdy and last, and that the broader seat would be more comfortable for my guests, HOWEVER, although this is a "larger" seat, the depth of the seat is poor, leaving one feeling perched on the edge of the seat rather than seating comfortably. Returns require disassembly and return in the box, which I no longer had. I am also less than pleased with the look of the piece. Several areas of paint flecked off around the screw holes. , and it was also rather difficult to line up the holes during assembly. Having the screws so visible as part of the construction also made it feel a little cheap, when I was expecting a more sleek, modern look from the photos. The seam construction on the back of the stool is also uneven and unattractive. ... show more

Pretty sturdy chairs! Really easy to assemble and perfect height. However there is a stain on three of the four chairs and it is tough to remove.
