Just received our queen frame this weekend and I must say I'm very impressed with the product. Delivery "issues" aside (see below), the product is solid, well documented, and works as advertised. It was installed under our existing iComfort memory foam mattress and inside our existing wood bed frame without any issue. The good: 1. Construction quality is impressive. The metal frame is thick & solid with secure connection points all around. The hydraulics and their connection points are equally solid, and the electrical components include heavier-gauge wiring with modular connectors that are clearly labeled. If there is any "weak spot" in terms of construction, it would be the adjustable legs, which each consist of three plastic screw-on cylinders. That being said, don't foresee any issue with them, and they installed/leveled with no hassle. 2. Operation is exactly as advertised. The range of motion for the head and feet is more than expected. I believe it advertises a 40-degree angle for the head; I'd say it easily exceeds that - at its extreme, it feels more like 90 degrees lol! The remote is responsive, easy to operate, and has a nice, solid feel with backlit buttons. 3. Installation is idiot-proof. Beyond the physical challenge of putting the frame in its place, there's really nothing more to installation than securing the legs and mattress retention bar then plugging it in. 4. Clear documentation. While there's really no learning curve for this product, it's always reassuring to see clear and professional documentation, in English and grammatically correct. The "could be better": 1. The packaging was a bit lackluster. Upon opening the box, the base is literally just folded in half with the loose components resting inside of it. While nothing was damaged, removing the heavy frame with multiple hinge points was awkward, to say the least. I would have hoped there would have been something securing it to keep all the moving parts in place until it was ready to be installed. There is also a yet-to-be-explained extra leg included that did render some confusion as we searched for a place to install it. I had assumed it was a supplemental "center support", but there is clearly no place on the frame for it to insert. 2. USB port placement. This may not be relevant for all users, as our frame is actually obscured by our bed rails when flat. The ports are located near the head of the frame on each side but reside behind the side walls. Thus, accessing them requires essentially reaching under the frame and "feeling around" the bottom. Additionally, since they are mounted so close to the head, they have far more range of motion than what seems to be logical. I keep an iPhone cable on my nightstand for charging; if I used the ports on this frame, I envision the cable (and/or phone) being pulled off the nightstand any time the head was raised. The ports do seem like they could be easily re-positioned but in all honesty, this isn't a feature I was particularly interested in to begin with, especially since they are completely covered by our bed rails when flat. 3. Remote and under-bed lighting. Both work perfectly when activated, however, doing so requires pressing a button on the remote itself. Considering that both of these features are very likely to be needed in the dark, I would like to have seen some mechanism allowing the remote keys to illuminate when it is picked up (similar to our cable tv remote). Granted, I haven't had this frame long enough to "memorize" the remote, but until that happens, I'd be hesitant to try to activate the remote lights by pushing the wrong button and waking my wife with a rogue adjustment! It would also be nice to have some sort of motion sensing on the under-bed light, as it really does illuminate the area around the bed very well. No deductions here, as these are "wishlist" features that are not advertised. 4. Operation volume. While actually ON the bed, the sound of the hydraulic lifts are really minimal. What I have found, however, is that the noise is curiously very noticeable from rooms below our second-floor bedroom. I found this somewhat surprising, especially considering our bedroom is carpeted. I may consider looking into some sort of cushions or other material to try to dampen the noise/vibrations once I have a chance to really zero-in on exactly where it originates. The "ugly": Okay, I admit to being a bit dramatic here, but the delivery notifications were oddly inconsistent. The original delivery date was Friday, Jan 15th. On Thursday, Jan 6th, (more than a week early) I received a notice that it was "out for delivery - arriving by 8pm". I excitedly called my wife to expect a large delivery, and once I got home, promptly removed our mattress and box spring in preparation. By 10pm that night, the amazon delivery date had changed back to the 15th. Grrr. The same thing happened on Friday, Jan 7th, including me once again removing the mattress and existing foundation that I had to hastily reassemble the previous night. Again, no delivery and the Amazon delivery date again reverted to the 15th. That was still the estimated date on Saturday, so you can imagine my surprise when the doorbell rang and I found the large parcel waiting outside. I'm a bit conflicted here... All things considered, the frame did arrive a full 5 days ahead of its original estimated delivery date. That being said, having to disassemble, reassemble, disassemble, reassemble and again disassemble our bed based on "out for delivery" notices was a bit frustrating. In hindsight, doing so was obviously a bit premature, but my experience with Amazon delivery notices in the past is that they've been remarkably accurate. Lesson learned. Overall, I highly recommend this purchase. Ultimately, it delivers everything promised and is easily $200-$400 less than comparable models we browsed in retail stores.

We were anxious about purchasing a power bed frame off Amazon without being able to see/test it first and especially because it can’t be returned. The almost-unbelievably-low price is what made us pull the trigger. Long story short, this bed frame is legit and we’re so happy we pulled the trigger on it. Our local mattress store was over $1,000 more for a powered frame with these features. Even a basic frame that just had head/foot movement was $650 more. Granted, buying from the local store meant having a return period and home installation. If you’re unsure about buying a power mattress in general then I would definitely find a local store or friend who has one you can at least test first. Once you’ve decided on getting one, this is the route to go IMO. We had no intention of buying one with massage, USB ports, underbed lighting or any of those other “extra” features. But for this price, we couldn’t resist. Assembly was easier than I anticipated. It’s very heavy and will require at least 2 strong people to do but it’s very simple. Took under 30 minutes. Here’s a quick rundown of our thoughts on the features: Basic movement: Works just like it should and seems to have plenty of power. Motors aren’t silent but are quiet. Massage: It’s not so much massage as it is vibration. At its lowest setting it’s fairly quiet but at its medium or higher levels it’s pretty loud. I’m sure that the thickness and material of your particular mattress is going to greatly impact how much of the vibration you actually feel. We’re using this frame with an original Purple Mattress. The vibration can definitely be felt and I could see it helping someone fall asleep but that’s about it. Under lighting: My surprise favorite “extra” feature. It’s the perfect nightlight. I love having it. USB: This is a neat option but the ports are located near the middle of the bed. This is an odd placement for them because the cords will potentially be in your way when you get in and out of bed. If you’re using this frame inside an existing frame then I can’t see how these would be useable. It would make way more sense for them to be under the bed and near the head. Snore Relief: It’s very possible this works but unless someone is awake to push the snore button on the remote, it’s useless. And if someone is awake, then it’s already useless. So this is really useless. Remote: Excellent. It’s backlit which is great, simple to use, and even has a built in flashlight which is nice. Ultimately, we’re very pleased with this bed frame for the price and highky recommend it.

This is a review of the "iDealBed 4i Custom Adjustable Bed Base, Wireless, Massage, Dual USB Charge, Nightlight, Zero-Gravity, Anti-Snore, Memory Pre-Sets, Queen" purchased on April 7, 2024 for $699.99. I received the bed on April 11, 2024 The box was shipped and received in OK condition via FedEx. Inspection of shipping box revealed a couple of tears in the cardboard. It is expected for an item this size and weight. The contents of the box was undamaged. The queen is a massive box that states two persons to move safely. It can be done with one, but I would not recommend. I would expect the King size to be even larger and weightier and will definitely require two persons. Setting up the item was very painless and required little breakdown. You will need wire cutters or a knife to cut the zip ties that the frame had holding the frame together throughout shipping. The legs that come with it can be sized to what ever you like. There are little disks on the bottom of the legs that have been popping out on me. It is very annoying and I will be getting the glue out to keep those together. The upholstered sides are soft and no risk of shinning yourself. I would say the cheap out would be the base where the bed sits on. Even though I cannot see it, it is most definitely MDF or similar. I question the longevity of this wood and will be the failing point down the line for me. I am an extremely large man so that is the reasoning behind my worry of using that material in place of metal plating. The surface where the base hits the mattress is topped with anti-slip cloth material. The Owners Manual is very nice and is an actual manual. The serial number of the bed is stickered on it for your record. The pictures are full color and are instructions are very descriptive. I have had the most pleasant nights of sleep on this bed frame so far. The head and foot elevation is very fast. I would like a little more fine control since every press of the elevation buttons raises in set amounts. The massage function is also very strong. The under bed light (UBL) is a little too bright for my tastes but gets the job done. The UBL is on a timer. There is no way to undo this. USB ports are located on both sides of the frame. Each panel consists of one USB-C and USB Type A. There is a TINY blue light on each of the USB panels which is maddening to me. There is also a tiny light on the AC adapter plug. I am a person who needs total darkness in my room and little lights such as those take from my total darkness. I recommend blackout stickers to put on those annoying status lights. The remote is very nice with actual buttons on it (NOT TOUCH BASED, YAY!). It takes two AAA batteries (also yay! Others take three!) The buttons are very tactile and become backlit when pressed. The backlit buttons are not bright (which is nice at night so you don't get blinded by your remote) The remote also has a built in flashlight which is press (and keep holding) to use. I wouldn't use it and just stick with the UBL since it floods the room with light anyways. The only difficulty I had with the remote is defining which massage setting I'm on. There is no way to tell which of the 7 strength setting you are on. I find myself pressing the massage button numerous times to cycle through. The bed is Bluetooth compatible. What does this mean? You can control the bed via your phone (in my case, IPhone) in place of your remote. It has all the controls you need to elevate your bed, start and stop massage. Pairing with your bed is seamless and I had no problems during setup and use. I have not used it consistently because I am loving the actual remote WHICH HAS BUTTONS you can feel when you are half asleep. No opening your eyes is necessary, just go by memorized touch! This frame is definitely a five star but I am experiencing squeaking underneath the bed. The massage is on when it happens and in process of finding out where it is located and eliminating. This is most annoying since it just came like this out the box. The manual does have it listed amongst the troubleshooting so it is just coming down to getting a second body to see where it is squeaking underneath while I'm on the bed. -1 star deduction for this hassle. Overall, this massage adjustable frame is a solid buy for anyone looking to dive in their first one. It is REASONABLY priced and comes with a lot of bells and whistles that other entries start to charge $1000+ for. I would say one of the best highlights of this product is the remote. It doesn't feel cheap and feels like it will last until previously mentioned material usage breakdown. If it wasn't for the very minor squeaking during massage, I would have given this a full five star rating.

I did a lot of study about this bed before buying it. I can walk readers through my process and give my thoughts. Pre-purchase: I read through the Q&A when it was still all visible and got some good info and a lot of outdated info. The idealbeds are currently zero clearance, meaning they can sit on a flat surface and don't need you to remove slats from a standard bed frame. We installed this on a bed frame with a headboard and footboard, and slats underneath the foundation (adjustable bed). For this reason, I did not use the legs, so I can't comment on them. I also did not use the metal loop to hold the mattress in place, as the footboard serves that purpose. Delivery and setup: The queen size weighs 100 pounds and is folded in half in a box. I have new appreciation for our UPS guy who carried the package to our door without using a cart! There is some padding around the bed in the box, but it can still get a little beaten up. One of the side pieces of our frame by the USB ports was bent in a little, but I just pulled that back out. Everything else was solid and attached where it should be. The bed comes with some white zip ties to keep it from extending. Read the manual about keeping those in place until you set the bed where it needs to be. The only real assembly is hooking up the power cord and routing it after you unfold the bed and remove the zip ties. Use: The remote is supposed to be paired, but I had to do that again to make it work. I also installed the app to use a phone and Bluetooth if needed. The remote lights up when buttons are pushed, but the backlight only stays on for a second, so you need to memorize where the buttons are or keep pushing the flashlight button to activate the backlight on the remote until you find what you want. Initially, I didn't think the massage feature would be much use as we have a thick hybrid mattress, but we can feel the massage through the mattress, and the noise of the motors is kind of a white noise. Others may have a different experience with this. The bed offers a number of positions for your comfort, so you can find something that works for you. I'm told that the anti-snore does work, but I wouldn't know as I was asleep at the time. The USB ports on the sides are lit, but we covered the lights with a bit of tape, as we don't use the ports, and the light was distracting. The under-bed light is actually kind of nice, as it can be a night light or a help for finding things under the bed. In short, the bed isn't perfect, but very good and rates close enough to get five stars from me.

I was in a bad accident 2 momths ago and can't sleep flat or on my sides yet. (This causes pain) I slept in a recliner for a month after being.released from the hospital but could never really sleep threw the night. I got this frame in a queen and it has been great so far! I have it for about a week now and can finally sleep threw the night again! The vibration function is stronger than I expected and works great. The beds remote is nice and works well. The fact it has a little flash light in it is a nice touch. I have a few small gripes but nothing that would prevent me from being it again. The vibration function times out after 30 minutes even if you don't set the timer. So it will not run for any longer then that. At least I can't get mine to. The under bed light also does the same. It will time out after a bit. So night time bathroom visits you can not rely on it to be on when you get back unless your fast. So I need to take the remote with me as I use that light to see to get back in bed so I don't have turn the mail light for the room on. Would be nice if I could set the time out for the light or just keep them on as long as I want. For a queen bed there is a single actuator for the top and a single for the bottom of the bed. So being a larger guy (6 foot 1 290lbs) I have to sleep in the center of the bed or my weight will flex the frame slightly. I don't know if this would damage the bed over time, but I am not willing to risk it. My wife got in the bed with me and it gad no problems with both of us in the bed running up or down without the frame flexing noticeably. But with just me on one side it will flex a little. It's rated for I think 1,000lbs. But I don't think I would put that much in it. I would more comfortable if each section have dual actuators to prevent that flexing. This would however have to raise the price a bit I am sure. Small compromise for the price point. And I have seen more expensive power bed frames that still only ran a single actuator per moving section on a queen bed. Would not stop me from buying again, just like things that over built a little. The emergency back up power is done with two 9 volt batteries and the manual says that's good for a single use and then they should be replaced. And they should not be installed until needed. A rechargeable battery pack that's replaceable should it fail would have been nice. And could have given you a few uses before needing to be charged for sure. But again not 100% needed. I bought a batter backup power strip for it. It can keep the beed powered for a bit should the power go out if needed. I have the same one on my computer and it keeps my computer powered for like 5 hours if I am not gaming. So I would think it would power the bed for a few nights at least considering my computer draws a lot more power than this bed will unless you moving part of it. Thats really all. The frame seems well built. And works great. And it was easy to set up. The manual is well done. The adjustable height legs are a nice touch so you can dial in exactly how tall you want the bed to be. I have mine set up using the longest and shortest sections and that seems to work perfectly for me. I gave this 5 stars as I think it's minor shortcomings are fair for the price point. It's a good value for the money. The cheaper options out there did not look as well made. The more expensive options seemed like they did not provide enough improvement to justify the much higher costs. I was not paid for this review. I was provided this product for free. I paid full price for this frame. I am happy with my purchase. I wish I had bought this the day I got out of the hospital honestly! I did not know you could get a decent power bed frame like this for what this one costs or I would have bought it much sooner. I have at least another 3 months sleeping on this bed before I can even think of sleeping in my normal bed with my wife again. But I'm fine with that right now. LOL. I like this so much I am going to replace our Kind bed with 2 twin versions of this thing when it comes time to move back to my normal bed! LOL. Maybe it will help with my wife's snoring! LOL don't tell her I said that. LOL Anyway if it fails or anything changes I'll update this review. But I don't expect that's going to be needed.

Only into day 2 of having this product, and will update this if anything changes, but overall impressed with the purchase. The unit showed up and assembled as described, very simple, folds apart, installed the legs and then set it up. Engineering is quite impressive. In comparison to buying a comparable unit at a furniture store, the price is almost half when you consider the store's delivery charge. The only benefit to buying at a store with delivery is they will take away your old boxsprings. The delivery company was odd to work with, wasn't really sure what they would do and the time and date I was given at the time of purchase was not honored. Fortunately, I was available when they were so it was delivered. They did call as promised 30 min's before arriving. Delivery means they haul the box in and drop it in the room of your choice and exit. That's fine and the gentlemen who did the delivery was very nice and professional. I did help him because his company sent him out solo because his assigned co-worker called in sick with Covid. Fortunately, I was able to help him (physically) or there may have been issues. I like the features of the remote, easy to use and understand. My bedframe is a Mission-style king, and I disassembled the interior supports and this new base fit in fine. I was concerned if I could use a bedskirt with my comforter set and I was able to do so. I cut 2 small holes for the front mattress retainer to slip through the bedskirt and into the base frame and that worked fine. I was also surprised that the bedskirt stayed in place even when raising and lowering the frame! Also, I wondered if I could keep storing items underneath the bed. Using the legs (removing the 2" extra riser) the frame sits off the ground and is in fact about 1" higher than the original boxsprings. That is fine with me and allows me to store underbed Rubbermaid storage containers. Overall very pleased. I can't speak to the "pain" factor, have no need for it at present but may be useful in the future. I did also purchase the extended warranty. Normally not a fan of buying these service agreements, but in this case, I had no desire to "ship it back" if problems arose! And, like most of these, it's insurance, so probably will never need it. At 10% of the overall cost, I say it's worth it.

I really like this bed frame, I purchased the queen bed. The remote I gave a 5 star because it works as described and looks as described, but I do wish the buttons glowed in the dark as finding the correct buttons can be challenging. It has a button for the remote to light up but it doesn't stay on long enough to find the button your looking for. But I knew this when I purchased it from previous reviews and reading the description so I still give it a 5 star rating because it is as described. The bed moves up and down with no issues, it is quiet and never fails to move properly. When I sleep with this bed elevated I do not snore. This bed has helped my night time leg pain and numbness. This bed fit right inside my bed frame with no issues. It is heavy, it was delivered by Fedex and the driver was more than happy to assist me with getting the box inside my home. Although I installed this bed myself by scooting it with furniture sliders I would recommend two people to install the bed, it is very heavy. I don't think anyone would be disappointed in this bed but they may be like me and dislike of the remote although it is as described. I keep a little touch light that is intended for under cabinets on the side of my headboard so I can see the remote better.

Overall I do really like the bed. I think it is a great value for what it is and compared to other like items on the market. I have actually been wanting a frame like this for years. I finally broke down and decided to make the investment to purchase one. I did a ton of research and chose this frame. The legs continually need tightening. Even when tight they are very wobbly. When I first got the bed it scared me how wobbly the bed was when I would get in it. I think I have gotten used to the instability feeling, but it's still concerning. My dog jumped into bed a few days ago and gave me a look like "Oh my God, is the bed going to fall." Then there's the issue of the massage motor. My bed has never had a functional massage function since out of the box. I called customer support, filed a claim as directed. I got a standard response e-mail and now I have not heard back anything or been send a new part, like the claims rep said I would be. It's 3-4 weeks since I filed my complaint. If that issue gets resolved I will bump my rating up to 4 stars. The wobbly legs are worth a one-star deduction. I really dislike how unstable my bed feels compared to my previous bed frame. 11/24/21 - the legs have become so wobbly that I'm in constant fear of the bed falling to the floor. I think what I'm going to do is pull off my mattress, and disassemble the frame. Taking the legs completely off. Build some sort of frame and then a fixed the movable frame to the DIY frame for more stability. This should not ever happen to a consumer. The legs are complete crap and pose a huge safety hazard. Honestly, I would not purchase this product again. I still have never heard anything back from customer support, and I have contacted them a few times. It would be so nice if the vibrational option would have ever worked. Between the legs and the absent customer support I would like to give this zero stars. Don't be a cheaper like me. Shell out a bit more money to buy a higher quality product. 12/4/21 Update! I purchased the Amazon Basics Heavy Duty Non-Slip Bed Frame with Steel Slats, Easy Assembly - 18"H, (King) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086VNNCNG/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_A35308QY2CX5BA3Y204X?psc=1, took the legs off of the movable frame and placed the movable frame on top of the Amazon frame. Then I zip tied it all together. For the first time in a year and a half I actually feel comfortable and STABLE. Holy cow, what a difference!! Those legs were all bent to heck. Such an awful design. I hope this helps anyone else that hates their wobbly bed!!
