This ice machine is easy to setup, simple to use, makes all of the extra ice that my family of four needs daily with three simple fill ups. It comes with its own scoop which is a nice added bonus. I make between three and four fill ups of ice daily and it does not take much time. The resivor is easy to fill. The unit is also fairly quiet. The unit is also easy to drain making maintenance easier.

Love the machine, but needs cooler temperature in the house to make more solid ice cubes, my kitchen was 80 degrees from summer heat. I wish the machine could be turned upside down to drain leftover water from reservoir.

I have used this for only 3 days. But I've had it on constantly and I've tried the large and small cube. It is quiet while running, you can hear it but it's very subtle. The loudest part is the ice dropping into the basket like you'd hear in your kitchen freezer. It takes a VERY long time to get a basket of ice. 9 pieces are made at once and they are tiny, this is as advertised tough. But i was inticed by the "ice ready in 6 minutes" instead of ice ready in 24 hours machines. That's literally why i picked this machine. Well for my group that 6 minute batch isn't enough for one cup. I now start it in the morning so that i have a basket when i need it. I am building up a supply in the freezer so it's ready ahead of time as well. My water at home isn't that great so i don't like my kitchen freezer making ice. I buy distilled water for this machine, the taste is good, it's not freezer burnt and tastes like the distilled water does. The style of this ice doesn't stay frozen long, the center is hollow. If you put it in coffee or warm tea it melted immediately and can ruin the taste of your drink. When i freeze it overnight it lasts a little longer BUT not like regular cubes. If you add it to something room temperature it does a little better but still melted fairly quick. You need a lot of ice to get things cold. I did use it for making smoothies and it did well for that, the smoothies also had frozen fruit but it was a good blend. I think this product would be optimal for people who like to add ice to their water bottles, or make things like snow cones or smoothies. They just aren't the right quality to use in mixed drinks, teas, or espressos. I probably would have picked a machine that makes bigger ice cubes. But this one does what it advertised it could do so not the companies fault that it doesn't suit my needs. For now I'll keep using it. My kids are enjoying it so it's not a loss. I'll likely be on the lookout for something different in the near future.

Pros easy to see water level when filling, very quiet when running, makes ice fairly fast. Cons not easy to clean, has pinkish color something on sides/top where water comes out and flows down. See picture. Pinkish stuff hard to clean off. Shows up after about 3 run throughs.

This is our 3 different ice machine in last 8 years. This one by far is the best!!! Makes thicker, clearer ice in no time. There is a little bit of setup to get it dialed in just right, ice thickness, length of time making ice ect. But it is a great ice machine, when the time comes again for a new one we will definitely buy this one again!

We've had this ice maker for about 2 months. It was quiet at the start, but now it randomly makes screeching noises and we can't find any information on why. Adjusting for expectation management, this is a good ice maker. The basket can hold several dumps, but the compartment with the basket isn't insulated or kept cold. So unless you want the maddening experience of let the machine run constantly, dump it frequently. We use filtered water in ours and we drain it completely and unplug it when not being used. We store our ice in the freezer. Be warned the ice will freeze together since it is very wet when placed in the freezer. We just use a butter knife to chop it back into cubes. Overall, this ice maker solved a Luke warm problem by giving us ice when needed and from in our own home. The convenience of an ice maker is priceless especially living in the South.
