I bought this ice maker for my girlfriend for Christmas as we don’t have an ice maker in our refrigerator. After unboxing, cleaning, and it letting it set for a period of time before turning it on per the instructions— this was my experience. Within the first few weeks of use the white tray inside the ice maker started to not push the ice fully into the ice supply section of the ice maker. This would trip the ice full sensor. I would then have to manually push the ice off the tray for it to make new. The ice full sensor would constantly trip, meaning we never had ice like expected. The ice pellets made were never consistent no mater the size selection it was on. Then in the last week, the water pump inside ended up going out. Very frustrated about this purchase. ... show more

We have owned several countertop, icemakers in the past. They get a lot of use, and when our last one died, we needed a replacement, so I came to Amazon and checked reviews. This looks like a good solution. However, I can’t say that I am really sold on it. It does make ice fairly quickly but not too much. It drops a few cubes in the bottom of the basket, and then prepares to make more. When the second batch is ready to drop, the little flipper thing goes to shove them into the basket, but seems to stop before it gets them all the way to the basket. Then the indicator light comes on showing that the ice machine is full. So then it sits there and the ice starts to melt. It just seems like if we’re not on top of things and not watching it closely we never get a decent ice cube to use in our drinks because they’re half melted before we get to them. If I were to do it over again, I would not buy this machine. My husband thinks it runs quieter than our last machine and it does take up a bit less space on the counter but the quality of the ice cube just isn’t there. ... show more
