Our dogs keep wandering off of our farm and we don’t want to fence them in. We bought this tracker not only to find them but to hopefully catch them before they wander off. This met more than all our expectations. I can set a virtual fence and it will alert us when she crosses that line so we can call her back and train her to stay home. There is a subscription of $20 a month but to us it is worth it. I would like to get them for our other four dogs but I’m not sure if I have to have a subscription for each of them. Our favorite feature is the history. We can see everywhere she went and it’s rather fascinating to watch the life of a dog. The collar clips didn’t work out great for us (fell off after just two days use) so we used zip ties ( Not classy but functional). The battery has started charged for 3 days now and it’s still going. Not sure yet how long it will actually last. However my husband plays with the live action mode which says it runs it down faster so that’s on us :) anyways this is a fabulous device I highly recommend it.

Updated review: So I have been using this tracker for well over a year now, while also trying out other trackers. This is the best tracker I've found. I use it on my dog, who it terrified of strangers. If she were to escape the yard, she would not let anyone approach her to try to catch her. What I like about this tracker is the accuracy of the GPS. When I posted my original review it appeared to me that the tracker would never use it's own GPS, only the phone's GPS via bluetooth. Well this is mostly not true. Where I was getting confused was the fact that I had set a virtual fence. When the tracker is inside of that fence it doesn't seem to give a current location very often (unless it's connected to the phone & using the phone's GPS). But when the tracker goes outside of the virtual fence, it does a fantastic job of using its own GPS to alert you, and then to show you right where the tracker is located. Like within feet of the exact location. I've opted to keep the virtual fence on. I'd rather be alerted if she leaves that preset location, vs being able to pinpoint her in our yard. So the reason for 4 stars instead of 5? Because it does require location services to be on & set to always to be able to track it. Thinking this through, it's probably to keep the monthly subscription as low as possible. If it were using the tracker's GPS all the time, I'm sure the monthly subscription would be much higher. I do highly recommend this tracker. I apologize to the seller for not updating my review sooner. Original review: I would recommend not buying this, if you actually want to track it when it's outside of bluetooth range of your phone. This device uses YOUR phone's GPS, though bluetooth, to report it's location. If you turn off permissions to your phone location, it gives an error & shows the device is in a different country. I live in the USA, it shows it is in Africa, if MY locations services is off. It is forcing "always allow" on the phone for locations services, then it uses it instead of GPS. I don't know if it's because the creators wants to track us?? Or because they don't want it to use the GPS service we are paying for. (It will give occasional locations if it is not connected to the phone's location services, but not enough to actually find the unit.) Also, most of the time it won't give the option for "live" tracking. It appears that both your phone and the device have to be connected through bluetooth & outside, & moving, for it to offer live tracking. If it is outside & moving, and you're inside, it will not offer "live". Total piece of junk.

I purchased 3 of these GPS trackers, to track the transport of my PODs when moving. Fully charged units. Settings: Ping every 10 minutes (this is supposed to extend the battery life to the maximum) Unit #1 - Battery died 3 days into move. (Distance from pickup: 40miles) Unit #2 - Battery died 4-5 days into move. (Distance from pickup: 200+ miles) Unit# 3 - Battery died 5-7 days into move. (Distance from pickup: 1200 miles) Of course one of my PODs was lost in shipment. This product really let me down. I wish I could return these units, but that option has been removed. The only pro: These units are pretty accurate when it comes to positioning. !Important! Even if you select the month-by-month service, the company will continue to auto-draft payments until you go into the app and remove the payment options. After I was able to retrieve all of the units, the return option appears to have expired.

I'm mostly pleased with this tracker, especially considering how cheap it was. It makes me feel more secure being able to know where my cat is, and it offers major advantages over standard Bluetooth trackers like the Tile and Apple Airtag, which only work in range of a network device. I tried a Samsung SmartTag+, but ultimately found that GPS technology was a better fit for my needs. One thing I didn't like about this tracker was that my a standard cat collar cannot pass through the holes. I ended up altering a collar to be able to use it, but it was a bit of a hassle. It may be that this tracker works with a standard dog collar, but I wouldn't know if that's the case. The other issue is that the tracking isn't super accurate. I've encountered glitches where the tracker told me that my cat moved an impossible distance in a span of two minutes. I've also had trouble using the live tracking function from time to time. Still, for $30, it's a decent tracker. The monthly service fee is a bit high, but that was fine for me because my cat only goes outside for a couple months out of the year.

So I've had the cube tracker going on 3 mths now and after a rocky start which was a DOA tracker.. yep after i started service it wouldn't work but here is the kicker after bout 4 hours i was contacted by a cube representative and I hadn't even reached out to anyone yet about my trouble that's right blew my mind they contacted me and told me exactly what was wrong and over nighted me a new tracker didn't even bother asking me to send the DOA back and credited me my month 19.95 back for my trouble which was by far the worst best trouble I've had in a min.. so now that they treated me like a customer which I've totally forgotten what that's like.. I felt like I could at least give my thoughts on the cube and how its held up.. so it took me a few days to get the hang of it but after I figured out what I was doing its really easy and very accurate like very accurate to the direction and all I have no problem finding my pet and the piece of mind I get knowing where he is this is like the best thing ive gotten for my pet now with that said It did look huge around my cat but now I dont even notice it, but its big, and the battery life is good could be better but it depends on what settings you put the tracker on also the geo fencing is not going to be your back yard it's like a hugh radius the app is kinda like most apps if you have old phone yeah you need to upgrade or be prepared to force stop alot cuz the app runs in the background all the time.. overall tho if your worried about your pet and want to be sure this is the tracker it works just fine and lastly the tracker will fit on a collar but trust me just get the attachments they sell because it will make your life easier putting the tracker on the collar after charging it.

I purchased this for my dog in 2022. I have been very happy with the purchase. It should be noted that I only use this device when I am traveling with my dog. I do not use it on a daily basis. It is a little large and bulky on the collar, but it does not appear to bother my dog in any way. I love that it securely attaches to the collar. The app is user friendly and it has always accurately identified my dogs current location. Thankfully, I have never had to use it in an emergency/lost dog situation, but I it gives me great comfort in knowing that if I did, I feel this would be incredibly valuable in getting my dog back to me. I appreciate that it is very easy to subscribe to the monthly gps service and easy to cancel the plan when I no longer need to use it. If my dog were one to stray from home, I would definitely use this device on a daily basis. When I first purchased my device, I had a little trouble with getting it to connect. I reached out to customer service and they quickly diagnosed my issue and discovered the device was not working. They quickly shipped out a replacement device. Their customer service was exceptional. I've had no issues at all with the replacement device. I would definitely purchase this again.

I got this tracker for my dog since my wife and I were taking him out of state on vacation and we rented a cabin on 64 secluded acres. There was a fenced in area for the dog but we wanted some peace of mind in case he took off or got through the fence, or if somehow he got off the leash during our hikes in the woods. Thankfully we did not need to use the tracker to find him, but we did test it. I had my wife take him for a walk but not tell me where they were going in the very wooded and unfamiliar 64 acres. 20 minutes later I pulled up the app and put it on live mode and It led me right to them, literally within 2/3 feet. It was extremely accurate. I charged the battery every night but even after testing it out and playing with it for quite some time, it never even got below 80% in a day so it easily would last three or four days on one charge I’m guessing. I won’t be needing it continually so I also like the option to cancel or renew the subscription very easily month by month right on the app.
