    • We're eating ice cream ALL the time, easy yummy homemade ice cream!
My kids absolutely love this thing! We've had a great time with different flavors and recipes. Our favorite so far has been just regular chocolate. You have to play around with the settings to find your favorite texture...but that's the fun part! You CAN find your favorite texture and then enjnoy it every time. We use Alton Brown's peach ice cream recipe with it too, which was amazing. Some things I wish I'd known ahead of time: --It's really loud! Which makes sense, it's cutting through frozen stuff! But I just didn't think about it. It's totally fine, doesn't scare my pets or anything, just like a powerful blender. --It comes with everything you need. I wasted time trying to figure out if I needed to get more containers. Nope. It comes with three and they aren't small! One container is perfect for my whole family. So what we do is keep two in the freezer (different flavors) while one is going through the dishwasher and then refill it and blend a different one. Easy peasy --It's safe. I was really worried about my kids using it. But it's set up kind of like a food processor where if everything isn't snapped in place correctly, it just won't work. So there isn't any way I've found for my kids to get hurt. --You don't have to do the whole pint at once. There's actually an option to do just the top half and save the rest for later. --You can put the ice cream back in the freezer to harden up a bit if that's how you like it. Or just for convenience. If we're having people over whom I don't want to show off to (most people I want to demo it!) or if we'll need multiple pints, we do them ahead of time and use the lids that came with it to put it in the freezer until we need it. We leave it sitting out for a few minutes to make it easier to scoop. And people love it! I really don't have any complaints at all. This has been my kids' favorite appliance ever, lol! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This ice cream maker is AMAZING!! Make healthy ice cream, sherbets, sorbets, milkshakes, frozen yogurt, all at home! Machines is a little on the loud side, but is super heavy duty, easy to follow instructions, and a very easy clean up. I will never buy ice cream again! The ice cream tastes so good! Everything you need to get started, just add your ingredients to one of the 3 containers, freeze for an about 4 hours, then select what you want to make, and the machine does all the work. My grandkids like picking what kind they each want to make. Great entertainment and easy way to add more fruits to our diet! It is a little spendy, but so worth every penny!!! Love it!! ... show more
