Make sure this product fits the size of your Kiten aid mixer (> 4.5 Qt), I ended up finding one at Target. It’s simple to use, and the ice cream turns out creamy and delicious. The media could not be loaded. I have kitchen aid mixer at home and want an icea cream mixer, but kitchen aid is expensive. My friend recommended this one so I gave a try and turned out it fits and works perfect. Easy to use and have a lot fun to DIY ice cream with kids.

Used about 7-8 times, give or take. Hand washed each time. Place upright in the freezer. Made sure it was dry prior to putting in the freezer and this still happened. I would say spend the extra money and get the name brand with a warranty. 🙂 purchased July 2024 and this happened September 2024.

The media could not be loaded. We had the freezer dish in the freezer for about 1 1/2 days. The agitator and the mixer adapter were very easy to attach and fit perfectly on our KitchenAid Artisan mixer. After about 25 minutes, our coconut milk ice cream mix started rolling up through the agitator in thick waves, and it was ready to serve. Nice consistency, easy to eat in heaping spoonfuls. Washing: The agitator is safe for top shelf of dishwasher. The mixer attachment has a metal spring (and doesn't even contact the ice cream) so I just wipe it off a little. The dish must not go in the dishwasher and you must not wash with hot water while it’s still very cold from being frozen. It cleans just fine by hand with cool water and soap. Also, make sure the bowl is completely dry before freezing. ... show more

I love this ice cream bowl attachment for our Kitchen Aid stand mixer. It is a high quality bowl that you place in the freezer a few hours before making ice cream. It has an inner liner that has a liquid in it and freezes, so that when you pour in the mix that you've made, and start the churning process, it freezes the mix within twn or so minutes. I leave ours in the freezer for 24 hours before using. The bowl also comes with the attachment for churning. It is simple and easy to use. Follow the instructions, and you'll be making your own ice cream in minutes. I highly recommend this if you already have a Kitchen Aid stand mixer, instead of buying an ice cream maker.
