This is amazing. If you don't know, most hotplates have a thermostat that turns off 1500 watts occasionally. terrible for sauteeing anything or making grilled cheese. this has a 300 watt setting which is perfect. Also the perfect size for a box of mac and cheese, and you can easily fill and drain it unlike an instant pot. It would be better if the pot was an internal thing that you could separate easily from the part that you plug in, and it would also be better if the cord came unplugged more easily. but for 15$, absolutely amazing. DANGER the worst thing about this product is the cord situation. you want to be VERY conscious and aware of where your power cord is - tripping over it could obviously lead to disaster.

This pot has become a very important tool for me. My stove is unusable so this allows me to safely cook food right on my kitchen counter! I've browned ground turkey in it, cooked frozen pierogis, and made quinoa, to name a few things. It works very well. You cannot finely control the heat so it takes a little practice and trying things out but it's worked well for me.

This electric pot is a total game changer! Perfect for travel, I simply plug it into my 600w power jack—it's compatible and impressively fast and hot. It's incredibly convenient; no need for a burner, just plug and use. The size is just right for my portion sizes, and it's great for boiling eggs quickly. Plus, it's nonstick and easy to clean. While I'd prefer it to be a bit deeper, the current depth still works well for everything I cook. And the added steamer is a cool bonus, although I haven't tried it yet.

Don't understand. you can't remove the pan to put the water in. emailed company. said not supposed to remove the pan. I've not tried to use it yet, if put water in the fry pan, there's no room for anything else. Guess I'll chalk it up to my misunderstanding. guess I ordered wrong thing. Too much trouble to return it. Senior, disabled military widow with no one to advise. my bad.
