I use a very narrow phone, the Galaxy Z Flip series, and this works with my phone, which many modern holders made for larger phones do not. As you can see from the pics, I used this along side my RAM mount setup. It held my iPhone 16 pro max sturdy for hundreds of miles of street and highway driving. Once I got off road and into the washboard, I had to move the phone to the RAM mount. No biggie! This mount can hold a phone including with a case firmly. I put an iPhone pro max with case on it. The other side holds a radio by belt clip OR a handicap with the disc connection. The Mount ball that comes with this one is large. I did substitute a smaller ball mount I had so I could attach it to my bulletpoint dash mount system. This mount is very sturdy and very well made. This is a pretty good little mount for holding both a phone and a radio mic. It’s a neat idea, and it works well. The build quality is decent. The actual surfaces that hold your phone and the mic button are metal, which is nice and sturdy. The main back plate of the unit is plastic, though. The overall fit and finish is good. It attaches to a standard 1-inch ball mount, and the ball on this unit is textured, so it holds its position well without slipping. It's easy to use. The phone holder part expands nicely and has no problem holding a flagship Samsung phone, even with a case on it. It does its intended job just fine. My only minor complaint is the big logo right on the front; I wish it was a little more subtle or not there at all. All in all, this is a solid product that does what it's supposed to. If you need a single mount to hold both your phone and your radio mic and use a 1-inch ball system, I would definitely recommend this. ... show more

This works well and is well built. There is no plastic. All aluminum. Holds a mic and your hand held radio. I was always looking for something to mount my hand held radio while driving and this works great. It uses a 1 inch ball for a 1 inch ball mount so it is very versatile and flexible in any installation. I am using it in my truck to hold a ham radio microphone and a hand held radio and it works perfect for this. Due to it attaching on a ball mount it is very easy to adjust and move as required if needed. Space in a car mobile application is limited and having an easily adjustable mount for a microphone and hand held radio is a game changer. ... show more

Very good mount. It feels very strong & well made. It will hold my 14 pro max with large case with no problem at all. The clip for holding a mic is well made & sturdy also. This is a simple solution for mounting a handheld radio and microphone. The device also can adjust to hold an android cell phone. The radio I was using was a Baofeng UV5R.
