This solar light works all night and turns off at daybreak, and recharge the battery using the sun for charging everyday. The media could not be loaded. I bought these lights for my backyard which gets dark after dusk. The lights are super bright and cover more than 1500 sq ft area. The radar function works perfectly and detects motion roughly from 25-30 feet. Even with 30% brightness, the lights illuminate the area quite well. I purchased total of ten (10) 1200w solar LED, and for first time trying this new design from different seller with big disappointment. After 2 weeks, out the rain here in Texas both lights stop responding to the remote control. One light I got to turn on manually from the pushbutton on the light, either on or off at full power, then dead few hours later when running out of juice. Water pouring out of the second light, the one that was completely dead. Will try to send back to Amazon for a refund... ... show more

I've had the light up for over a week so far and it is working as expected. Now I haven't tried different settings - what I wanted was a light at a low level in front of our garage unless motion-sensing. It has been set to the 25% level and is working about as expected. I do wish it stayed on the brighter level longer than 20-30 seconds after motion detected, and that the remote had more range (you basically have to stnad right under the light to use it) The light is quite bright when at 100% - I think it would suffice if over a Bball hoop or something like that. So far it has only seen some light rain here so no opinion on weather durability yet. I will note it is plastic doesn't appear real heavy duty. I'm in MN and it will have occasion to be covered with heavy ice/snow. Also the listing states it functions down to -50F, but the instructions included say only down to -20C (so -4 F). based on that it may have limited functionality often in the winter here. The installation was easy for me (comfortable on ladders) but will depend on the situation. ... show more

The solar charging panels on top of the lights are large. The lights are easy to install but I recommend using a 2nd person to stabilize the lights when you are attaching them. When the lights are running, they are very bright. The remote control is a great addition. You can turn the light brightness up or down and you can turn them on or off as needed. If you prefer, you can also set them to automatic and not worry about them. The lights have a clean look and can be used as street lights or for your home, to extend your outside activities. I am not able to speak to how waterproof they are yet. If there are any problems, I will edit this review. These are not my 1st street or solar lights. I got the two pack of 1000W. Our plan is for their permanent home to be on the side of our barn where it gets dark at the back of our property. These are VERY powerful and light up our yard! The pictures are one while charging so you can see the design is as pictured; then just that night they were so bright and come on as soon as the light/sun is removed. This will be a huge energy saver when I think about how much electricity I would have needed to use to light the same area. These ones have 60,000 lumens and cover over 1700 square feet. I plan to keep the brightness level up because as I said they will be away from the house at the barn and will auto dim without movement; but I love that the light can be adjusted…BY REMOTE! I am not worried about having these outdoors as they are waterproof and boast use through a thunderstorm! We get heavy winds and snow here, so I'll keep you posted.
