Its on wheels I move it around as needed with the help of a ceiling fan and a floor circulating fan this cools down my living room or office space as needed this is great for those days where its just getting a bit warm and. I dont want to kick the ac on for the entire house. It is a bit noisy once its a max but thats to be expected central air isnt quite either. Overall this is great for small to medium size rooms you could get away with a large room if you have a fan or two helping circulate the air. Would recommend. ... show more

After about two weeks got an E8 code so I called Whirlpool Support and got a ticket number, but they never called me back about it. Now the indicator lights will not work other than the power light. I am very unhappy with this product, and cannot send it back now that it is two days past the 30 day window. I called Amazon support and was put on hold and then the call dropped, but the agent did not even call me back! ... show more

Easy setup and maintenance. Not quite as powerful as i was hoping. And the drain hose is too short and was crimped/folded from the packaging and needed to be replaced.

We bought this Whirlpool Portable Air Conditioner over 2 weeks ago. This unit was so easy to set up. Our central air does not oool one part of our house as well as the rest of the house and this portable air conditioner cools really well and helps balance out the coolness in the warmer area. After days of researching portable air conditioners, we could not be happier than we are with this. Awful A/C! Absolutely do not recommend. Although properly installed, it’s very noisy. The control touch panel is temperamental. It doesn’t function well in Dry mode. The dehumidifier barely helps. The water tank is internal and cannot be accessed for cleaning. The drain plug is at the base of the unit. DO NOT BUY! ... show more
