I have been buying lots of short hoses with brass fittings, and this one is a good value, at least on initial impressions: flexible, no leaks, nice brass fitting with outer grips, cool color.     • Leader hose that trades flexibility for strength. Easy to get a water tight seal
I'm not sure if I like this hose or not. It is very strong, and clearly has some PVC mixed in with the rubber. It's not as stiff as (ironically named) PVC flex pipe, but it has some of the same disadvantages. The leader I received has a strong memory of it's formerly coiled existence. High strength translates to high memory and low flexibility. It can be straitened with a little force, but gravity alone is not enough. This leader retains a loop of very large, yellow hose next to my house, which is a little unsightly. That being said, it is a thick, strong leader hose... no complaints about the quality of this hose at all. There are large couplings on both ends, the female end twists so it's easy to install and the male end does not so it's easy to hold while attaching your device. It is very easy to get a leak free seal, even under pressure, with no tools. That's nice. I just don't know how strong I need my leader hose to be. Generally a leader hose will move less than a standard hose. For aesthetic reasons I will be swapping mine out, but that doesn't mean it isn't quality... it's probably too good for me.
