This 16 inch chainsaw is ideal for projects such as limbing, pruning and tree cutting. This cordless chainsaw features a fuel pump and combined choke/stop control to allow for easier starting and to reduce the risk of engine flooding. It also features a simple tensioning system for quick adjustments and an inertia- activated chain brake that reduces the likelihood of injury due to kickback. For easy handling, this gas powered chainsaw uses LowVib technology to reduce vibration levels, lessening operator fatigue. The Husqvarna chainsaw is equipped with Air Injection, a centrifugal air cleaning system, that removes larger dust and debris particles before they reach the air filter, improving engine life and reducing air filter cleanings. An efficient 2-HP X-Torq engine uses Husqvarna 2-stroke lubricant with a 50:1 oil tank volume (0.549 US pint or 0.26 L tank volume). Each chainsaw Husqvarna creates comes with an extended warranty on pre-mixed fuel: extend your warranty from 2 years to 5 years by purchasing 96 fluid ounces of fuel at the time of your purchase of select handheld products.

Light enough for me to easily handle, even at ground level with stumps. If I was to ask for anything, it would be easier access to the spark-plug; you have to remove the top housing, and watch the tabs on the front when putting it back on, or you can't get the chain break released.

I want to give this five stars, and Ill list why, then explain why I can't -Starts easily and consistently -Tremendous power for a homeowner saw -Fit and finish is high quality -Does not leak bar oil like so many other saws do I use this on a 100 acre timberland so I know its getting more use than it is made for, yet so far it has been more than capable. Con -Carburetor was out of adjustment. On arrival this saw would die after a few seconds of idle and require half choke to restart. The low end carb adjustment was about an 1/8th turn off from where it needed to be. For me this was no big deal, I grabbed the special tool required and tuned it. This saws targeted selling point is a standard homeowner who likely doesn't have the tools and know how to do this. Had a family member purchased this it would have been sent back. A homeowner saw first and foremost needs to function without issue, yet Husky missed the mark. Such a great saw, but such a crippling issue for the target customer ... show more

The chainsaw was delivered with a completely broken handle out of the box and I wasn’t even able to use it one time. Now I have no way to get a refund for it because it won’t allow me to do so.

I purchased used very good condition and it came in a taped up box. Upon opening it looked brand new. This this is very predictable when you start it. If you start correctly. Choke for one or two pulls until you hear it try to start and then fast idle for 1-2 pulls and you’re going! Chain is super sharp out of the box. I am a first time chainsaw owner and realize there is quite a bit of maintenance. Chain needs to be sharpened frequently, clean out where the drive gear and clutch are and frequently check the fuel and bar oil. I love doing this stuff so that’s ok but if you don’t wanna learn to sharpen a chain, it could get really expensive with new chains. ... show more
