Description

Lightweight, efficient and easy to use, the Husqvarna 130 Gas Chainsaw is a great addition to tree cutting equipment and outdoor tools. This 16 inch chainsaw is ideal for projects such as limbing, pruning and tree cutting. This cordless chainsaw features a fuel pump and combined choke/stop control to allow for easier starting and to reduce the risk of engine flooding. It also features a simple tensioning system for quick adjustments and an inertia- activated chain brake that reduces the likelihood of injury due to kickback. For easy handling, this gas powered chainsaw uses LowVib technology to reduce vibration levels, lessening operator fatigue. The Husqvarna chainsaw is equipped with Air Injection, a centrifugal air cleaning system, that removes larger dust and debris particles before they reach the air filter, improving engine life and reducing air filter cleanings. An efficient 2-HP X-Torq engine uses Husqvarna 2-stroke lubricant with a 50:1 oil tank volume (0.549 US pint or 0.26 L tank volume). Each chainsaw Husqvarna creates comes with an extended warranty on pre-mixed fuel: extend your warranty from 2 years to 5 years by purchasing 96 fluid ounces of fuel at the time of your purchase of select handheld products.

1st - if your saw came with the bar & chain already installed; ignore the instruction about removing "Part A" the shipping spacer. 2nd - as mentioned in other reviews, the chain is WAY too tight as delivered. I couldn't even turn it by hand. 3rd - mine started on the 3rd pull using 6 shots of the primer and three good pulls with the choke on. ... show more

    • Piece of Garbage! I'd like to say the "S" word, but this is a family friendly store!
I was always told Husqvarna was the best chainsaws on the market. I had purchased a Home Depot brand a few years back. It lasted three years and finally died. So this year I decided to get a Husqvarna, and boy was I disappointed. My first attempt at using it, it started pretty fast and quickly stalled. After about 12 or more pulls of the starter cord I finally got it started again. This time I was able to make a couple of cuts, but then stalled again. Once again, it took more than 10 pulls to finally get it started again. When I released the chain brake and and give it gas to make a cut, you guessed it, it stalled again. There are adjustments, one for idle, and two for gas mixture (idle gas mix and accelerator gas mix. But they only give you the tool for adjusting the idle, and not for the gas mixture adjustments - why not?? So I ordered the spline tool needed for that adjustment, figuring that was the problem. When I got it, I started the saw and adjusted the idle, and also the gas mix for both standing idle and accelerator. Wow! I was able to do five cuts this time before it stalled. So, here we go again, another 10 to 15 pulls to get it started only for it to stall again. I tried so many adjustment increments for idle and gas mixture, but to no avail. So, I contacted Amazon and said I am sending it back. They told me they can't take it back because it's gas powered, but will issue me a full credit. THANK YOU, AMAZON! The Amazon associate told me I could either keep it, donate it, or throw it in the garbage. I chose the latter, in the garbage it went! I'm not some newbie with power tools, including a chain saw. This saw was a piece of garbage. I guess now I can try Stihl. Either that or get another cheap Home Depot model. At least that lasted me 3 years! This was only a week! ... show more

Saved my butt , ordered this because of all the trees on my property , received it and it sat on a shelf for weeks, four days ago a fifty foot maple crashed down right next to to the road on my property blocking cross traffic view. At the root base the saw was too small but with a few different angles I cut up the entire tree and stacked the fire wood to dry out, guess I’ll need a log splitter next ... show more
