I had to pull a few extra times to get it started the first time. After that it starts easily and runs well. The secret to these gas units is to let them run for a minute or two before giving them hard throttle. This 122L does the job easily and runs well. No need for high throttle on this one.

This 122L is light weight and the starter is very easy to pull. Perfect for a homeowner doing average amount of trimming. I also have an old 128L and while it is more powerful, it is heavier and takes more pulling to start, though that is a great unit as well. The 122L to me is suite more for smaller yards, which is what we have in our second location. I hope this lasts as long as the 128 ... show more

Horrible product and would not purchase a Husqvarna again after this. Did not even last one year, I use nothing but non-ethanol premixed fuel. I've checked air filters, spark plug, fuel lines for blockage. It will start but dies when you pull the trigger. If you do a half trigger it will run for a few minutes but eventually dies. This trimmer may be a little expensive but well worth it. I have lost count of the number of trimmers we have purchased over the years that did not hold up. This one is heavy duty and paired with a harness it is easy to hold and finish the job. Highly recommend.

This is a very good weed eater/trimmer, everything works just fine. Easy to assemble because you only have to attach the handle & cutting guard. The only drawback or flaw is the gas tank is small, it needs to be bigger.
