Description

Lightweight, efficient, and easy to use, the Husqvarna 120 Gas Chainsaw is a great to tree cutting and landscaping tool to make light work of cutting firewood, light felling and limbing. This 16 inch small chainsaw features an air purge system that removes air from the carburetor and fuel system for easy starting, plus a combined choke/stop control reduces the engine flooding risk. This handheld chainsaw includes a simple tensioning system for quick adjustments, and inertia-activated chain brakes reduce the likelihood of kickback injuries. LowVib technology reduces vibration levels to lessen operator fatigue and for easier handling. The Husqvarna chainsaw (motosierra de gasolina) is equipped with Air Injection, a centrifugal air cleaning system that removes larger dust and debris before reaching the air filter, improving engine life and reducing filter cleanings. An efficient 1.8-HP X-Torq engine uses Husqvarna 2-stroke lubricant with a 50:1 oil tank volume (0.32 US pint or 0.15 L tank volume). Love it. Runs better than any of my other saws and 1 is a stihl. I think im going to stick with Husqvarna. Its a little powerhouse with the 38cc motor. Runs unbelievably good. And so comfy when cutting. Love it!! Took 2 trees out then trimmed and bucked them. Saw ran flawlessly. My porch was easy to take out. My Poullan pro 42cc 18" bar fits this. I tried that , and I like the way it cuts with the 16" better. 38cc motor is powerful , but it's just doesn't get it for an 18" . A 14" in would really ripp. Echo, poullan and husqvarna are compatible for certain things. Husquaverna wanted the same pith and depth for Medium duty saws including120 Husqvarna echo 16" and poullan pro 18,16 and 14" all compatible. I believe echo owns husqvarn now. All related all great medium duty saws. I have a stihl ms170 16" 30cc? I think. Bought it in 95, poulan pro 18" 42cc and the 120 16" 38cc husqvarna. And my 94 kx250 2 smoker 😅 man its a freakin animal! ... show more

This is a little beast! Super reliable and I've put it through more then it is made for. Always fires right up, cuts through quickly and teeth seem to hold up well. Not too heavy. Great deal for a chainsaw.

I thought this a fair priced chainsaw. The weight is comparable to other saws this size. It’s definitely made for occasional use. All in all this is a great saw.

    • Went right through a 20 ft palm tree no problem.
Bought this because my 20V Dewalt wouldn't stay sharp enough to cut through a single palm tree. This one struggled too but it easily 3x more powerful than an electric chainsaw. I love it and got a big orange hard case for it. If it can go through a palm tree it will make short work out of any hardwood tree. Even when brand spanking new I had trouble getting it to start. Going back and forth between starting and adjusting the choke between attempts is always a pain. It's temperamental but once it does get going and smooths out it works fantastic. Cut down a 20ft palm tree into 3 sections. Always remember to keep your chain lubricated and get a chainsaw sharpener tool, you'll need it. Very happy with my purchase. ... show more

The weather finally cleared where I could get outdoors and cut some wood. Within the first hour of utilizing this chainsaw, the pull rope broke off into the engine compartment of the unit. I could expect this after a few years of use, but within the first hour?? 3 months now and neither Amazon nor Husqvarna has responded. A few hundred dollars down the drain and nobody capable to jump in and respond. Save yourself a head ach and stay away from this vendor and Amazon for that matter.
