Moves alot of air. It has started making noises tho like fan blades hitting the case. If I hit it a few times it stops but only a matter of time till it fails. Spend a little more is my advice. I have a hyperfan going 5 years strong.

Does the job! I have an AC controller varying the frequency on this to vary the speed. Double ended bulbs have to run at 20degC or close to it for optimum brightness so I have some sensors measuring the incoming air and then adjusting the fan speed to get to the level of cooling needed while not going too far. The fan is noisy when at 100% but that is just the way it is. A lower rpms, the fan is nearly silent. ... show more

I have this cooling a 4x4 tent with a 1000w hps and the temps stay right around 78degs. If you run it at 600w then I get 68-70degs. this is so far a excellent fan and has great pull. Will bring a update after a year or so to show how its doing.

Product description was no lie...commercial grade powerful and dependable..yes its noisey but what do you expect...i wish it had speed control but I'd rather a superior product with no speed control then a cheap product with speed control....so I'm ok with the noise

Easily the best fan i ever purchased. My hydro box is 36cft, but the shed its housed in is 1440cft. With only a 10"x 7" intake hole in my box, this fan creates very noticeable air current in the shed and moves hot air out with ease. Even at 60% speed this fan get the job done. I don't even need an internal fan for my plants because this fan creates such a strong air current anything else will be overkill. I've read some complaints about noise with this fan, but i couldn't expect this fan to perform at this rate without some level of noise. Especially not at this bargain price!! Now its time for the durability test. I will be purchasing this fan again in the near future and will definitely recommend this fan to anyone. ... show more

The fan came with the two side-brackets, but not with the third bracket which connects them (seen in product pictures). The fan is loud - and the Apollo speed controller I got to dial it back doesn't reduce noise too much. Fast shipping arrived as described boy damaged returned from another store etc brand new in the plastic in the box. This fan moves some serious air! Due to that volume of air it can be heard faintly. I now have it attached to a 6" phresh silencer instead of a speed control unit and it's 5 feet away when my neighbors are over playing video games they don't have a clue. ... show more
