This heater works as intended. It hashes consistently and has not had a problem since I got it. One really good feature is it will continue to generate heat even if the internet goes down. Its also much hotter and whisper quiet in heater mode. I'm very happy with purchase

I just got this device today and had a very frustrating experience setting it up. The problem turned out to be a threat protection feature of the VPN service that I use on my phone. The documentation provided with the heater does not mention anything of this sort as a potential problem. If you're having trouble connecting, try shutting any similar apps down, or add the Avalon Family app to the split tunneling/excluded apps feature of your VPN. Next, connecting to the F2Pool with the provided scratch-off card is not easy. First off, the instructions tell you to "click the plus" and then scan the card. Only... there is no plus. What you have to do is click the three-line drop down menu in the upper right of the Avalon Family app, then click "scan." This will get things rolling with setting up an account on F2Pool. Once you get there, get ready to try your patience. Setting up an account on there is a gauntlet of email and SMS verification codes, which not only have to be completed multiple times but in two instances had to be done in tandem, one SMS code and one email code to complete a registration step. There's also multiple "I'm not a bot" challenges to complete - very annoying! Then if you set up 2FA with an authenticator app, you'll have to enter another email code plus the current authenticator code. Finally, once that is all done, you should be up and running. My unit is currently operating at 40.2 TH/s in mining mode, and it is emitting an appreciable amount of heat. As frustrating as this setup experience has been, now that I appear to be across the finish line, this seems to be a good purchase. Also, if you go with F2Pool, definitely download the app, and make sure that you input a payout address for your sats. The app is very convenient to use and is easy to log in to after your account is established.

This is the best BItcoin heater on the market. Full stop. It uses 66 of Canaan's newest 44nm chips (same as A15). Both of the units I received perform above spec (they're advertised at 37TH/s and my units perform at 40.5TH/s and 39.9TH/s). The seller is extremely reliable and communicated rapidly with me when I had questions. I'm probably going to buy another one 😂

#1 read this. 24 hours in the new unit's life. With 137 other machines all running next to it. One can say it works there is nothing special about this unit. But it is a premium to buy it! Many other units and manufacturers have much better and faster units. I have 93 various Nerd Miners, Bit Axes, Thumb drives of dozens of types of Avalon's etc... And dozens of AntMiners, WhatsMiners and much more. This unit is very inconvenient, uses to much power (240v only NOT 110V or 220v) Your choice I would go Hydro 21s-K or Y Bitmain when I have more money......
