I have one mounted at my front porch door and the side porch. I had to use extensions for the side porch bulb because of the angle of the socket I used. I am very satisfied with the camera, the quality of the picture is perfect. Even at night, the picture is crystal clear. There is no distortion like you see in the doorbell camera fish eye lenses. The app itself is pretty simple, but I'm still learning what each function does. I have an SD card installed in the camera, so I don't have the subscription to save my images. IT's a little pricey so SD cards are my go to. Shipping was fast, it was delivered within the time frame shown when I ordered it. Installation was very easy, I had it up and running in a matter of minutes. The range on it is also excellent, it picks up people passing by out in the street, that's a good 35 feet from the porch. It swivels to follow motion, because of that it covers almost 95% of my porch area, including the neighbor's door. You can set it to recognize sound, but it's way too sensitive to have it send alerts. It was picking up bird song! There is a siren you can set to go off if the area is approached, but it is a little too loud for the neighborhood, so I have it set to a manual activation instead of automatic. No need to upset the neighbors! I would definitely recommend this camera bulb to anyone looking for a more affordable alternative to the doorbell cameras. ... show more

Received the camera, it easy to set up, 5GHz is much better here than 2.4. The picture is very sharp and good. However, the camera audio was basically silent until a loud sound, then it was choppy. I called Shaun at customer service, and his is sending a new camera at no charge. He said there might be a problem with the firmware. I hope the new one works well. ... show more

This camera is great for my toddlers room, helping me check up on him while I'm at work or to see if he's awake yet without opening the door. The zoom is great, I can see into his crib with no problems even though the camera is all the way across the room. The motion detection isn't something I use often, but the notifications are nice when I'm trying to see if my toddler is being sneaky. The notifications from the motion detection are really accurate and come through within a second. The motion detection picks up my cats as well as people, which is cool. The only negative thing, which doesn't matter to me, is that there is a delay when using the function to speak through the camera, and you need to speak slowly to be understood. I don't mind that, but it could be important to other people. This was so easy to set up, I had both cameras connected in less than 5 minutes, and they reconnect automatically when I move their locations. Since I got these in a flash sale, I really think they're worth the money I spent. ... show more
