Perfect fit for my Cub Cadet 243 CC dual stage snow blower. Pretty much take off the old one and pop in the new. Only challenge was getting the choke extension knob off the old carb. Plastic bit that was clipped in and was little tricky to get out. Once that was done it was pretty much put things back. I did use the new gaskets provided with the carburetor. Worked perfect on a Cub Cadet 2X Snowblower. About a 20 minute job with small engine knowledge and proper tools. Identical to the factory carb on this 243cc engine. Runs like new again.

Swapped it out and it works fine. Two problems I ran into was the choke shaft on the old carb. I could not get it to release from the old carb. So had to use the Dremel on it. The shaft snapped into the new carb. with ease. Next was the gaskets they weren't 100% stamped out correctly very slight miss alinement which did not cause any problem with it running. But it makes you wonder an check fit on it. All in All for the cost an running to Cub for the same carb. at 3X the cost. Its well worth it. Give it a 9.5 ... show more

This carburetor is the same as the original carburetor. It should work on my Craftsman snowblower, even though the snowblower was produced, for the most part, by Cub Cadet.
