I got this for myself and I've now been playing this for a couple weeks and I'm really enjoying it. I'm new to the Uke but, I think this hricane ukulele is a great quality instrument for the price. It's just beautiful!! And, very unique, compared to other amazon options, as far as the appearance goes which I LOVE! The action seems low which is awesome,and the frets and neck are smooth. It also sounds really nice! Also, it has a really nice case/gig bag that comes with it along with a tuner, extra strings, and a strap. The only thing I wish it had was buttons for a better strap, but I think I can add that myself eventually. I will definitely be considering hricane when I purchase ukuleles for my kids christmas presents this year. All in all I think this would be a great choice for anyone considering a ukulele. ... show more

    • Lovely first ukelele
Love this lovely uke! The design is lovely and the coloring beautiful. This is my first and I had been learning on my husband's. It has a slightly higher sounds even when tuned the same, but works great. Keeps tune well once a little used. Frets are smooth and even, not rough askiyng the edges. Points off on craftsmanship for including a neck strap, but not having any of the bolts on the uke for it to be used at all. Great value for the price. Would recommend!! Aloha! ... show more

    • Very light, a little flimsy feeling
This ukulele was purchased for a beginner and sounds beautiful. The would seems very thin, a little flimsy, and the front panel has a visible seem between the two pieces it was made out of instead of one solid panel. Otherwise, it’s beautiful and sounds great, I just feel a little worried about the longevity due to the materials. Case is very nice, thick padding. In addition to this, I received this and it was missing the strap, the tuner and the pick, but after some emailing back and forth the seller did issue a partial refund so that I could purchase the items separately. ... show more

This instrument is good quality for the price, when I tuned it the first time it stayed in tune for a long time. Sounds good, and the aesthetics are good too. My son loves learning on this thing and enjoys playing it. Also use it for camping trips to use around bonfire singing. Would buy again!

    • No button for strap
Nice instrument but was disappointed that the ukulele did not have the button on the neck or the base to attached the ukulele strap. A strap was included but there wasn't a way to attached it to the instrument. Google search recommended to drill a hole to place a button. As a amateur player, I would hate to damage my instrument if I drill incorrectly. ... show more

The ukelele seemed a fun instrument to play, so I decided to search for one on Amazon. The great reviews and design on this one caught my attention. I didn't want a very cheap one and as a beginner, I didn't need a very expensive one, either. This one arrived on time and it was love at first sight! Beautiful little instrument, lovely sound. Out of all of the ukulele’s this one has the best tune and cost the least. It has better features and is a solid little piece. We bought this one for my six year old and she loves it! The seller stands by their warranty as one item did come in damaged and they’re shipping out a replacement. My only suggestion is to ditch the strings that come on any of these ukes and buy some Ernie ball ones for 20$ so they keep tune. The Aquila ones are always losing tune. ... show more
