[True story] Back in 2019, we bought this printer and were thoroughly impressed with its performance. It printed like a dream, and all was well in our household. A few months later, our tranquility was shattered by an unexpected ant invasion. After a detective-like investigation, we discovered the epicenter of their operation: the printer. Inside, these industrious little insects had established a bustling colony, complete with egg-laden trails running across the ink carrier. Every attempt to print something resulted in pages adorned with ant body hieroglyphs. Realizing this wasn’t the artistic effect we were going for, we exiled the printer to the great outdoors, hoping the ants would find a new home. We didn’t need to print anything for a while, so we left the printer outside and promptly forgot about it. Winter came, and with it, relentless rain. Day after day, the clouds poured their wrath over the abandoned printer. It remained outside for almost three months, enduring every type of weather Mother Nature threw at it. Then spring arrived. We rediscovered the printer, now ant-free, and decided to see if it still had any life left. We drained its insides, let it bask in the sun for a day, and brought it back inside. To our astonishment, it powered on! The printer ran its initial calibration like a champ and even remembered how to connect to our home network. The ink heads were understandably a bit crusty, but after replacing the ink and running about 25-30 cleanup cycles, the printer was back to its original glory, printing crisp pages like the first day we got it. Fast forward five years, and the printer is still going strong. I never imagined it would survive such an ordeal, but here we are. I have a sneaking suspicion that our kids will be inheriting this indestructible marvel, and it will likely outlast us all.     • Cute, prints well, marketing schemes though...
Super cute, sleek, easy to put away. Prints very well. Clear color. Don't be tricks, it does not scan you take pictures with your phone and send to the printer which you could do with any printer if you have a computer... Also can't print remotely unless you leave it setup 24/7 with the paper in it. Just a few marketing tactics to point all. All in all this printer is as expected and does the job if you don't do a lot of heavy printing. Very easy to set up with your phone. I purchased the product at a deep discount with the Dash program, and I really like it. It is light, decent print speed, holds about 40 pages. What is concerning is the ink goes pretty quickly, and the print from mobile hasn't worked to well. But, overall I am very satisfied.     • Setup sucks (TAKE OUT OF DEMO MODE FIRST) but lovely little printer!
((Update 5/25/21: Another star off because about the half the time I go to print it just won’t connect to wifi. It usually will later on or the next day but it’s super annoying)). Hellish to set up. Instructions unclear, important steps missing (like taking it out of demo mode first). And I am somewhat tech savvy. Just could not get it to connect to my wifi and almost gave up after two days and was going to return it but suddenly it just started working out of the blue. Honestly could not even tell you what changed or what to do if yours isn’t working. Now that it’s set up and running... I love it! It’s cute & compact & has a nice cover to fold over the top which I like because mine is in my living room but you wouldn’t even notice it’s a printer. The printed images are amazing, crisp & saturated, & oh my it prints so fast!! I was shocked at the first image I printed, it was over in seconds. Granted I have not printed any photos, nor do I plan to regularly. The connectivity with my iPad has been flawless so far. The free inks it comes with are a sample size so they’ll run out soon, but I opted not to join the instant ink program since I am a very infrequent printer. I think you need to be printing a substantial amount more than I do to make it worthwhile. The replacement inks are not expensive at my local Walmart though. One star off for the stupid setup (they literally could rewrite their setup card including EVERYTHING you actually need to do and make things SO much easier for the consumer) but other than that my printer life is going great now guys ... show more

    • Reviewing a year after purchasing - DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER
Do not buy this printer. My 1-year warranty ran out June 2020 and suddenly I start having all kinds of problems with it. First, I kept getting ink errors. I used the Instant Ink and it took over a year to run out. I was getting errors a month ago on low ink and they said my ink levels were fine. I wanted new ink and they said it they will send when the printer tells them to. It finally sent me ink when literally my pages were printing like crap because ink was too low. Like streaky barely black printing quality. Now, my printer won't feed the paper. It jams with any and all paper. I have run the gammit of help sites and did everything. It just takes the paper and scrunched it.I keep wasting paper trying. I can't get help online or by calling them because WHAT? WHAT? my warranty has expired! So today my son and I decided to try to pry the case off to inspect the issue with the paper feeder. Maybe we would find something stuck in there or whatever. It took us 20 minutes, four butter knives to wedge it open around the wedges while he and I both pulled and pulled to get the case off. The one corner would not come loose so we pulled and pop it broke the part we wanted to inspect. The paper feeder was attached to the case! Go figure! So now I have a $200 piece of junk sitting on my kitchen island. I went online to cancel InstantInk. I got an email that the ink they just sent me this week for the first time ever will no longer work even if in a printer. Are you kidding me? I can't even give it away. So I paid $2.99 a month for 14 months and never used the ink. BUYER BEWARE! Do not sign up for Instant Ink. It's a scam. Also, they told me they are going to charge me for any pages I printed during this subscription month. I'm so done with HP> Life long buyer has been lost. Bye Felicia.     • Perfect for the occasional printer
I rarely print things but I work from home and so occasionally it’s necessary. I wanted something that was relatively small, easy to store, and doesn’t require much set up. Cue the HP tango. It’s actually perfect. It comes with a little case when you’re ready to put it away, it was SO easy to set up on my phone, and whenever I need to use it I literally just plug it in to the wall. No additional configuration required. The print quality is great so far but caveat, as I mentioned, it doesn’t get much use so I’m not sure what it would be like for someone printing all the time. I’m not big into writing reviews but for the cost of this printer I felt it was necessary. ... show more

This is a great printer for my IMac- easy to install and sync with my computer and my iPhone. Prints way faster than I expected and the quality is super good. I’m not the most tech savvy and was pretty stressed over finding the right wireless printer. I shouldn’t have worried. It was a breeze!

I love this printer! It looks really cool. Aesthetics on point. It makes my desk look so cool lol. It works great for me. I bought this printer to for light secretary work a home. I do a lot of paperwork, letters to different places, etc. This printer prints quickly and works great. It prints photos as well. I read the reviews before I purchased it. I saw a lot of complaints that it ran out of ink too quickly. I would think pictures require lots ok ink. I am excited to print some photos soon. It printed addresses on my envelopes as well.
