A firm cushion for a walk-in tub. Adds some seating height above that walk-in tub floor. Makes it easier to safely stand in tub. Base of cushion maintains firm contact with tub seat. No sliding around, and is also well weighted. This cushion maintains shape, and does not compress-which would cause a reduction in overall seat height. Maintaining overall height is important. This cushion is about 5 inches in height. It’s not tremendously wide, but should work well for most folks. If you have a wider seat girth, check the measurements to determine suitability for you uses. Cushion seems to be primarily marketed as a hot tub seat cushion. Which is probably also a good use. Cushion is relatively easy to clean. I recommend a light cleaning after every use. It has a webbing handle on one side to easily manoeuvre. I bought this pillow for several reasons, it's waterproof, sturdy and comfortable. My husband whom has a disability needed something comfortable to sit on as he showered . The bench in the shower has slats this works wonders! Happy with the purchase.
