I got this item because I was having abdominal surgery. It was very easy to assemble with very straight forward directions. It fit perfectly under my mattress and gave me the support I needed to sit up in bed or turn over. I love the sleek durable and compact solid design. It is easily removable so it can be moved from one side of the bed to the other in less than a minute. The pocket was so convenient for keeping my cell phone within reach in case I had an emergency and needed to make a call. This definitely was a huge help in my recovery as I was able to get in and out of bed with only the assistance of this bed handle. I am very stubborn and hate asking or help so this let me keep my dignity while I healed, I definitely would recommend this affordable rail support handle to anyone like me who just likes doing things on their own!

I ordered this for my son at college. It would also be appropriate for an elderly family member. We got this for a bunk bed and it is very sturdy and works perfectly. If you need to increase safety this item will do the trick. Very easy to assemble and install.

This Bed Rail is great but it's designed to go between your mattress and a box spring or frame. I love mine BUT I reccommend you put down a thick board first for support if using an older box spring or one that has metal bars. My boxspring is the metal constructable type that has gaps. Putting a board across them worked perfect and protects the cover and boxsprig while keeping the item sturdy flat and secure. Just thought you should know in advance. I highy recommend the rail suppport. I have my charger strapped to it by velcro tether which I love, so it doesn't fall under or behind my bed now. Photos attached to review! Ty for reading

My Grandma is 76 and permanently disabled so she is always needing new assistance devices around the house. This is the newest addition to help her retain some independence as she does not want to have to go to a resident facility. She needs help getting up/down from sitting positions so we put this in her room for her bed. Assembly was really fast and easy. Setting it up on her bed was easy. All I did was slide it between the bed frame and the mattress and just push it in all the way so that its flat against the bed and sturdy/well secured. My only complaint is that it would be nicer if the portion of this that sticks up vertically and has the handle for support/also creates a railing was taller. My Grandma is on the taller side so whenever she tries to get up, its harder when the item she is holding onto for support is too low. She can still utilize this, but if there was an option was adjustable height for taller people that would be great. Rating 4 stars for this reason as more sizes for inclusion would be very beneficial.

Got this for after my hernia surgery and I'm so glad I got it! It was easy to assemble and worked perfectly to help me get out of bed easier. I have no complaints, only good things to say. It was a life saver and made my life so much better for having it.

I love this bed rail and wish I had purchased sooner! Both my arms are disabled. I also have a LOT of issues with my low back that will require surgery at some point. Having a grab bar has made it so much easier to get out of bed. I also appreciate the little pouch on the rail. It’s the perfect size to keep my phone. I was worried when it arrived that I would be able to feel the bars under the mattress. But I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve had it on my bed for a little under 2 weeks and I haven’t noticed it yet or noticed any disturbance in my sleep. Plus I’ve been told my many who’ve already had it that a bed rail is a must have for spinal fusion recovery, so that’s one less thing I’ll need to get when the time comes.
