This spool of chicken wire (with cutter, gloves, and single strand wire) is exactly as described and shown in the product description. No surprises. As for the chicken wire itself, it appears to be pretty much the same as the stuff in the big box store a few miles away. I ordered this wire for an art project that includes magnets. The magnets stick to it just fine. The cutter is one of this little side cutters that are super handy. It's a fairly cheap version and the spring action to open the handles after cutting is kind of weak. Regardless - I have at least a half dozen similar side cutters scattered around that I use regularly for snipping stuff. They're so useful I like having a pair in arms reach. Now I have one more. The gloves are a grade or two above the thin cheap gloves that come packaged with everything that needs assembly. Not great. Not even good when compared to work gloves. Functional though. I'm going to keep them around until they're lost or something. I won't mourn them. The single strand wire is just ... wire. Adequate for the job of stitching together chicken wire.

This is the typical chicken wire you can purchase from your local hardware store. They come with cloth gloves to protect your hands while working with this wire. The cutters are great for trimming the length and cut to size you need. The kit comes with thin wire you can use to join seams together.

I needed to patch up some holes in our chicken pen, and this wire did the job. It's on the thinner side of chicken wire, but it's still acceptable at keeping most critters out and in. It also has a pleasant design. The gloves are useless, the wire will poke straight through. The wire cutters don't feel like they will last long, due to a weak pivot point, but they do cut through the wire. The extra wire for ties is really nice and handy and is the same thing as the main chicken wire spool.

Good quality chicken wire. A little heavier guage than most. Came with a little bit of wire, cotton gloves and a really nice pair of flush cut wire cutters.

I don't have a ton of experience with chicken wire but based on what I've been told to look for - this seems like good quality. I am working on building my own small coop. I will say - I don't know if this is normal or not but the edges are quite sharp. I have nicked myself a couple times. I don't think it will be dangerous to animals, but you may want to assemble with gloves.
