Fan looks great on our screen porch. Very quiet and well- balance right out of the box. Pretty easy to install. Didn't need any help. The one thing I am disappointed in is how strong the motor pushes air. As others have said, don't expect to have to grab a blanket! Motor is slightly undersized for the larger blades. High speed is basically medium on most other 52" fans. I live in the deep south where porch sitting goes on year round. This fan is not going to help me a lot in July and August. ... show more

Very impressed with these fans. Bought 2. The price is great! I also like the design. There are different designs on either side to choose from. One is wicker the other a swirl. They are powerful enough to keep us cool.

    • NO CLOSE MOUNT OPTION - MY SOLUTION
What a joke, the description clearly states that a flush mount is an option, that should be good enough and one shouldn't have to troll the comments to learn that the description is inaccurate and flush mounting is NOT an option. Lesson learned I guess but this shouldn't have been. An update, one option to raise the fan would be to shorten the down tube. I did just that, removing 2" and then redrilling the hole for the pin. You could probably remove as much as 3" and still be able to install properly. Other have noted poor airflow, but I don't find that to be an issue. ... show more
