This replaces a 15 year old fan that has been on its last legs for awhile. Once the wiring was done, this thing went together fast. It didn't even need balancing, it was level out of the gate. It is a few inches larger than the old one but it has a lot lower profile and that was a bonus. And since it has a remote, we don't have to have the dangling chains anymore. Much cleaner look. We have it above our bed and we can barely hear it. It provides just enough air for it us to sleep comfortably. We usually have it on low or medium. I am looking forward to fall when we have the windows open and I can try out the breeze mode. I like the look and the bright LED light kit as well as the remote with pictures. The lights can be dimmed with the remote. This was installed in my bedroom so I wanted a quiet fan and this is it, even on medium speed it was quiet and on the high speed you can here the air but the fan is still relatively quiet. I did hire an electrician to install thankfully because there was very little room between the fan and the light kits to stuff all the wires and plugs. We struggled with that for a while but when completed, it was balanced and works great so far. ... show more

This fan is attractive, quiet and moves a ton of air. And it doesn't move at all, even on high speed, which may be more of a testament to good installation but I'm still happy about it. I do wish it had a pull cord but that's just me. The remote is nice, lots of handy features that I never use and forgot existed after the first week but it's nice to have options. The remote is responsive, decent looking, mounted easily and I've never had to change the batteries after owning it for almost two years. Great purchase. ... show more

This fan looks great and so far works really well. It has lots of options for speeds and dimming and a really nice remote with a mounting plate. It did take a while to install though.

I bought this fan last summer but just now got around to installing it. Installation was actually pretty easy for a ceiling fan. The instructions were very clear and the parts were easy to identify. I had an extra set of hands to install it but I probably could have done it myself. The black metal finish looks great. The bubble glass and LED Edison bulbs give this fan a unique look. The remote control is a great addition with lots of options including dimming the lights. I installed this in my downstairs area with lower ceilings. This fan does not have a flush mount option but it doesn’t hang down very far from the ceiling. This fan is a great addition to our living area! ... show more

Beautiful and very well made. Takes some time to put together. Took 2 hours to install each one. Overall, great fan. Super quiet and the remote is a great feature. The remote holder is so nice it looks like it's built into the wall. Would buy again!
