We’ve had this futon for about a year and have gotten a lot of compliments about the mattress. It is pretty comfortable. Assembly was okay… I was able to assemble 95% of it on my own. The only thing I had trouble with was putting the seat part up. Was able to finish assembly once my husband got home. It’s been pretty easy to keep clean. Our dog likes to sit/lay on it. This thing is a beast - got it because I needed a couch in our tiny apt that could do double time as guest accommodations someday when we are allowed to have them again. I thought i was on a roll when I assembled 2/3 of it on my own but the last part required calling in some assistance. I still don't have the futon on it all the way - I have a few inches coming off the front but wrestling this thing is no joke, and I am hoping there is one more level of "up" for the back as i feel like I'm going to fall into it. One leg was cosmetically damaged when i got it and I unfortunately dropped it and took a chunk out of that same side while attempting to put it all together :( we need a couch so badly I didn't have the heart to complain about the initial damage. On the other hand, the color is perfect - it's way more of a deep teal blue than a navy, as was mentioned in other reviews, which is what i wanted so I took the chance. ... show more

I didn't give it a full 5 yet because it is not 100% set up. Ups lost the 3rd box containing the arm pieces to it. But I am leaving this review because I am super pleased as to how their customer service department handled it! I called and within 5 minutes they agreed to send me a new set of arms. So far, was really impressed with the instructional video. It was so much better than reading a manual. Seems sturdy so far and wood is really nice quality. ... show more

    • DONT BUY! Frame starts to immediately fall apart
I’m 5’2 at 150lbs and this frame is starting to fall apart after only a couple of weeks. Mattress is extremely comfortable but with the frame falling apart only after 6weeks it’s not worth the investment. Do not buy!

We bought this futon for our family room/play room. It's very sturdy and comfortable. Much better than the typical futon. Bonus because it can pull out for extra sleep room. It's a little difficult to lay out but it's works perfect for what we need.

It took a while to put together but is very sturdy and looks great in my office/guest room. The mattress is thick and comfortable so hopefully it holds up over time. I do wish there was a little more control when shifting it from seated to laying position and visa versa. Only gave four stars because unless you have two people it just kind of falls down into laying position, and putting it back up into seated position requires a bit of effort.
