The barn door easily assembled and took stain very well with little sanding. The included hardware--handles, bolts and other hardware--were oversized for the door. The packed bolts to secure the roller brackets to the door were too long; I had to purchase shorter M10 bolts ($7.78) to fasten the roller brackets to the door. Also, the provided handle is disproportionate to the door size and I purchased ($14) one that was proportionate. The provided door glide is also very large, if installed it would protrude 5 inches from the wall into the room (a trip hazard). In conclusion, I presume someone mispacked these pieces of hardware into the kit. One definite hardware flaw is the undersized wallboard anchors meant for use when the roller rail cannot be fastened to a stud. In the end, I overcame all these hardware issues: purchasing new bolts, purchasing a proportionate handle, and adding holes in the roller rail matched to stud locations. If you have good renovation skills, this barn door is a good value.

Instructions very vague. Had to go on u-tube to figure out how to put together. Had to grind wheel brackets because too long no predrilled holes in the door for handle or brakets

Made sliding attic stairs with these. They seem to work well. They just keep the stairs in line for when they are out of the way in the garage. All you have to do is slide the stairs over and they rest against the ceiling opening bracing and rest on the floor, so the brackets only hold the weight of the stairs and not a person when climbing. Used a couple angle iron as the rails.

Comes with all the parts you need but none of the holes are pre drilled. It is solid wood. Not easy to install but doable with some patience and attention to detail.

I ordered 2 of these sets because I'm building my own trailer home and I want it to have sliding doors in the bathroom and bedroom. The parts all feel nice and sturdy, but I was under the impression that the set came with the rail on which one hangs the door. My sets only came with the fasteners and J shaped hangers. I went back to the main page and realized that it's a little vague as to whether or not it comes with the rail, I'm not too upset because the parts are still what I need at a reasonable price, but it's always nicer to know exactly what comes in the box. I might've been fooled because most of the pictures of examples have the entire thing installed.

The door itself was extremely easy to assemble. The hardware, however, comes without assembly instructions or diagrams telling you what the parts are or where they go. It only took an hour to assemble the door. We are still trying to figure out the hanging process.

Easy install. Had to trim my bolts, they were a bit too long for the door, but they did give 3 different length bolts! One of the handles is defective, [2pack], its crooked as you can see in the pic but AZ is shipping out a replacement. Hefty, decent material for the $$.
