Been living with this lovely fragrance all day and trying to discern the individual components. There's not one that stands out to me, but I am very much enjoying the blend. It's very masculine and reminds me of days when gentlemen wore fedoras. I don't know what fragrance my grandfather wore, but somehow this is reminding me of him... vintage, upscale, nice leather. My cat would taste the reeds and intentionally knock over a glass diffuser bottle in a hot minute. Using a glass eye dropper, I added 4 or 5 drops to an ultrasonic cool mist diffuser. The fragrance dispersed throughout our living area in just a few minutes. I like this approached so I can easily change the scent daily according to our mood. Urban Naturals Mahogany Coconut is pleasant and lingering in the background. I wish I could discern more sandalwood, but I'm old enough to know if I really want "Sandalwood" ORDER SANDALWOOD. I don't smell coconut, which some reviewers said was dominant. Not so for me, but I cook with coconut oil, so it may be an ambient scent already. I enjoy this fragrance very much. It's gentle and doesn't overwhelm, but it's lasted all day. Really nice to come back home and be enveloped in this wonderful atmosphere. ... show more

A little pricier for the amount given but I love the smell of it. I would not say that it lasts for more than 3 months but definitely for a couple of months. It would make a nice gift. I also added a couple drops in the diffuser and my living area smells so nice. Recommended for people who like this combo! ... show more

Unfortunately I can’t smell this unless I put my nose right up to the diffuser. The sticks are good quality. I want to be able to walk in the room where I put a diffuser and actually smell the scent without actually bending down to smell it. Disappointed

I'm surprised the bottle and lid is not designed to, itself, hold reeds and mitigate issues related to tipping (wider base, grommets or similar in the lid to slide reeds into and reduce leak rate if tipped). Maybe there is a good reason to not do this; I know nothing. Anyway, I was thinking about getting a diffusion machine, but I kept reading reviews mentioning leaking, which I'm definitely uninterested in, so I grabbed this instead, which included reed sticks. I agree with other reviewer that I don't detect any wood scents; I assume they're there, just overpowered by the sweet coconut (maybe there is vanilla in there, but it could just be from me reading it's supposed to be there). -But it's a pleasant smell, so that's fine. I'll whip up a quick base to set the plastic bottle in and otherwise continue using it as pictured. So far, I like this solution greatly over using spray scent bottles or candles; it's cheaper, there is nearly no interaction required, and the scent is continuous rather than whenever I interact with the scent disperser. I found two reeds to be a bit strong for our upstairs rooms & hallway, but a friend told me the scent intensity will mellow out the longer I don't flip the reeds, so I suppose this issue will self-resolve. Edit: they do quickly diminish from initial intensity if you don't flip them; I think maybe I would've been better off not dipping & flipping to start off, so I could get a better sense of how much oil they'll evaporate. ... show more

I have had MANY diffuser scents over the years...some incredible, but most were weak at best. Of course in the world of reed diffusers, you usually get what you pay for...but in all honesty, I feel like this one has a really nice, mildly coconut scent mixed with vanilla and mahogany. I put it in my office at work (approx 15' x 15' with high ceiling) and it has quickly filled the room with a very warm smell. People have commented, but it's not overpowering. So...I say get it.     • Pleasant scent, took forever to arrive!
This refill for my reed diffuser is just what I needed. The bottle of oil refilled my old jar perfectly, and it came with a new set of reeds for the new scent. The scent is very pleasant. Not overpowering at all. Only complaint is that it took weeks to arrive. I guess they say the best things in life are worth waiting for! ;) ... show more
