I LOVE my new trashcan! Yup, this is where I am in life but hey, I love it. We no longer have to empty it everyday because it holds a lot. I love that the trash bag is held in place as well. The slow-close and foot petal are nice features as well. I would definitely recommend. Great quality as well.

    • Very disappointed in this trash can
When choosing this trash can I was excited to upgrade to a larger size and it not take up too much space in our kitchen since this model was going to be taller than our previous 13 gallon trash can. But I really wish I would have seen more reviews emphasizing the difficulty of getting the trash bag out and the 2 things that prevent this. I bought this trash can in September and gave it a shot with the 13 gallon bags we had leftover from our old trash can and yes it was a smaller bag so we were still only able to fit the same amount of trash but didn’t want to waste them. It’s not possible to find 18 gallon trash bags in the grocery stores either. Well even with the 13 gal bag if you over stuff the bag (like most of us do to avoid taking the trash out quite yet) it is nearly impossible to get it out without tearing the bag and trash going inside the trash can or on the floor. I then purchased the 30 gal bags to see if there was any difference for a few weeks. Even without over stuffing this trash bag it was still difficult to get the trash out so the size of the bag didn’t matter. #1 There is no liner inside the trash can that helps with the smooth removal of the trash bag. #2 There is a narrowing at the top where the lid is that prevents getting the trash out and rips the bag. You also are unable to lift the thicker part of the trash lid up like you can on other trash can models to get the bag out easier since it is all attached. I’m very unpleased and now I have reached the 1 month of having it and am unable to return this pricey trash can. I tried to give it a chance but it’s not worth the hassle each time when getting the trash out. ... show more

    • Difficult to remove trash bags.
Its a nice size and color. The only thing I didn't like is that its difficult to remove the trash bags once the trash can is full and the Bag tares a hole on the side of the bag as you pull out the trash bags.

    • This is a nice trashcan. There are a couple things
As far as functionality, This trashcan holds the bag in place! That is the best thing about it. Im not fining trash at the bottom of the can because it has these metal (not wires..thicker metal) things that hold the top part of the bag in place. Like every trashcan, you can't stuff your bags or they won't come out easily. Fingerprints on this can.. the black in particular.. I can see them, BUT so easy to spray and clean up. The can is nice and clean and flat so it hides the trash well even with a full bag, so I can wait till trash day if needed and it seems to hide the smells pretty well. I wish there was a mechanism that held this door open while I was doing projects, but that is for a different time. The petal works very well. NO issues so far! ... show more

Never thought I would say this about a trash can, but this thing is gorgeous. We’ve had it for about month now and haven’t had any issues. There’s one minor flaw, though; if you let the bag get full it’s a pain getting it out of the trash can because of the top lip, it hangs up the bag from trying to slide out. The design is horrible the top swings open when you step on it gently. It’s rips any bag we put in. The bag never really sits in nice because of the design. It is virtually impossible to remove a bag easily even when the trash isn’t full it is the worst trash can I ever owned. And for the price I paid I’m very unhappy but we needed soemthing a little bigger than the 13 gallon ones. It shows a million finger prints and arrived dented. I don’t think I have a box enough big enough to return it. ... show more
