What do I dislike? When the fireplace was delivered the packaging was extremely good. When I unpacked the fireplace, I found the engineered wood at the top back of the fireplace had extensive damage. The engineered wood was cracked in half! As you can see by the photos the wood just about fell out of the back of the fireplace. The fireplace unit itself was screwed in so tight that the engineered wood cracked in half. So instead of addressing the issue in production they still sold it! The fireplace was not damaged in shipping. This happened during assembly. Was there any quality assurance done on this unit? If so, this unit should not have been put out for sale. Whomever assembled this unit did not care. Of course, since the packaging was time consuming to remove and discarded, I cannot send this fireplace back. So, it was necessary to glue the wood together, so the fireplace didn't fall out the back. As for what I like about the fireplace. The fireplace does fit perfect in my bedroom. It heats very well and the remote works well! I also can't get a partial refund since they indicated the fireplace is not eligible for any refunds. I am thoroughly disgusted. The fireplace comes fully assembled, and I wish I could have assembled it myself. I always assemble my purchases if required.

The fireplace is beautiful and the shelf is handy to have, but the air doesn't blow the heat very far. If you are right up at the fireplace, it gets hot. My previous fireplace had different settings for the fan and would warm up my living room pretty quick.

This fireplace is beautiful and the heat settings are perfect. The only thing I missed from my old home was the fireplace. This one looks so real that it has a calming effect. I am considering getting a 2nd one at some point to go in my bedroom.
